The wife's 64GB white iPhone 4S is in Preparing for Shipment. My 64GB black iPhone 4S, which was ordered first by a half hour or so, is still in Processing Items.

I ordered mine from AT&T and it says it is in process. I got 3 confirmation emails from them (all of them said the same thing), so I'm pretty sure it'll be here lol.

Mine's been "Preparing for Shipment" for a while. I want a tracking number already so I can refresh that hundreds of times per day while knowing it won't change!

Purchased from Verizion's website just before 12:01 PST on Friday (well, It was in the cart and processed before 12:01, finalized within about 5 minutes of 'official launch' because I couldn't find the AppleCare+ insurance).

Email from VZW says that it'll ship for delivery on the 14th.

This sucks because Sprint's page does not update process, prepared for shipment etc. Better get a damn tracking number this week

For those who got there order in early, don't worry. If it says ships by 14th then you'll get it 14th (or earlier if you're lucky!)

I think we'll be stuck on "Processing" until Monday then we'll start seeing some activity as they move out of Shenzen (if that's where they are coming from now) and onto planes across the world :)

Can't waiit!

Mine says it will arrive on 10/14/11 and will ship on Thursday Oct 13, 2011 so it can't come from Shenzen, China and get here that fast I don't believe. Usually it takes at least 2 days because of hold ups in customs if it was coming from Shenzen. When my iPad came it came from California. So Apple may ship from Shenzen, China on Monday to arrive here Tuesday late or on Wednesday then reship to us on Thursday 1-/13 for arrival on 10/14 Friday. Just a guess. I really don't know for sure.

I tried to order via AT&T upgrader and it couldn't find my account. So instead I went into my local store and made my order. They told me it would be shipped directly to my house but it would now be 14-21 days. Not sure if this out of caution due to high demand or is it truely at 2 to 3 weeks. Anyone else seeing the extended downtime...if so where did you order.

OAN...I feel robbed. Nevada charges tax on the full value...not the purchase price. Therefore I paid $60 extra just for tax. I'm interested to know if any Nevada folks that ordered online paid the same extra tax? I'm almost cheap enough to cancel my order and re-order on line just to save $60!

I ordered two iPhones , one 32 GB white and one 16 GB Black and they charged me full purchase price tax on both which I was not expecting. It was actually $52.57 tax for the 16 GB and $60.67 for the 32 GB white.
That was a total of 113.24 that I paid that I did not know was coming. Sort of a shock but nothing i can do. This was done online and not in a store.

Of course their is tax if they have a retail presence in your state they are required to collect tax just like you bought it from the store

True I realize that, but charging for the full price instead of the $199.00 and $299.00 caught me off guard, as that is a lot of money if you were planning on that. I was planning on $16 and $24 for tax not $52 and $60.

Yea. Lots of people got the last 2 phones the day before the launch. Im sure apple does it to help relief from stress from the servers with everyone syncing new phones for the first time

iphone 4s white 64gb, ordered 3mins after preorders went up (9am europe), still says processing to be delivered by the 14th

iphone 4s white 16gb, ordered at 7pm, still says processing to be delivered in 1-2 weeks, by the 28th october

(uk apple store obviously)

I ordered mine from Verizon's webstie at about 7:20pm on 10/7. I received my order confirmation at 7:34pm. The email and website originally showed 10/21 as my ship date, but the website has since changed to 10/14. Keeping my fingers crossed.
