True, but you have to admit, this is a pretty small upgrade.
To say SIRI will only work on the 4S is BS

Why do you think it's nuts? Basically, it's showing a $250 carrier subsidy difference for the handset before and after your eligibility date.I checked my available pricing using the Upgrade Calculator found on Apple's website. The pricing is nuts!

This has been year of the software. next year is going to be the hardware year.
This is patently false. The real money for them is in Apps.

It will be interesting to see how Apple prices non-subsidized (full retail) handsets on Friday. I would be thrilled if the 64MB model was $649 unsubsidized, but I figure the chances of that are almost non-existent.

Isn't it great how we all have to wait YEARS for Apple to get stuff done ?
I have a BluRay on the subject, I'll let you borrow it, Oh wait ....
This is patently false.
In Apple's SEC filings, they report iPhone handset (hardware) unit sales. If App Store revenue was so high, they would be obligated to separate that out as a discrete business unit because it would have significant impact on Apple's overall business model.
Apple makes the vast majority of their revenue selling hardware.
If you want to claim that Apple's "real money is in Apps", please quote where one can find this in Apple's SEC filings.

Windows Phone 7.5 Mango is looking pretty sweet right about now
Really? Next to your floppy disks?

Well, because it's nuts.
I'm happy to re-up on another 2 year contract, but the pricing needs to be realistic.
But honestly think S stands for seriously???![]()
Yes, please do publish them. You want me to publish figures that Apple is going out of there way to hide?
I'm to lazy to look for them , but it's true
Strange ... I got the iPhone 4 at launch and Apple says I'm eligible to upgrade now. Maybe AT&T fears customers may defect to Verizon or Sprint.
The 'S' is a simplified version of '$'.But honestly think S stands for seriously???![]()
Not going to be difficult to get. Most people who got iPhone 4 on or after launch aren't going to be eligible for an upgrade. I see a few 3G/S but not many.
I'm eligible Feb 25 2012. I have a few months to decide still.
Cool... no need for you to post any more of your negative bs here. Run on over to the Win 7 forum and scream how crappy the 4s is there, they will agree with you. FFS make the move and be happy. No one is making you buy the 4s.
