This is what is infuriating me (not you bud, enjoy your new iPhone
)Why is someone that ordered 24 hours after me (my emails were from 3:53am and 3:57am EST on 9/14) receiving solid updates and delivery times?
I'm about to blow a gasket, I swear.

Look at flights heading towards Anchorage, AK. Keep in mind that NOT all UPS based packages are on UPS flights. Figure by tonight or sometime tomorrow morning there SHOULD be updates on the packages stuck in Asia.

I'm in the same boat or rather same pallet as you. My live chat rep said "unfortunately we have not received further updates regarding your shipment, we are waiting to receive more information for apple shipments. Our best suggestion would be to please keep on tracking your package for further updates you are always more than welcome to chat back with us so we can check our systems. I am terrible sorry we are unable to provide you with more detailed information right now". REALLY??????
I then contacted the Apple online store. They said that UPS is overwhelmed with the number of shipments and keeping the tracking system updated. The rep said that I should still receive my phone by EOD tomorrow 9/27 (inspite of UPS Choice sending a pre-delivery alert yesterday. I don't know if I trust anything that's been said now.
Yes, mine is stuck in the same batch. Is yours going to Toronto/GTA too?
Just decided to talk to UPS although I knew I wouldn't get any reliable info. According to the agent I spoke, They cleared Canadian customs in S. Korea. I don't believe this is true. He also said they were on track to deliver my phone by EOD Oct 2 since that is the commitment they have with Apple.
Originally UPS showed delivery by EOD Sep 28 and that info has disappeared from the tracking page since last morning.
Anyway, I have no hope this will now come before Oct 1 at the earliest. My tracking page says "Shipped by UPS Worldwide Expedited" which translates to 5 business days.

The Apple customer service agent told me that the supervisor approved a free accessory. I told that I do not care about the accessory at this point and need to speak to the supervisor, they are going to call me at 11:30AM EST.
I'll keep ya'll posted on what they have to say.
Mine shipped on the 23rd. Checked my bank account and the charges for the two phones was "pending". It was "pending" on Monday and Tuesday. I checked this morning and the pending charges are gone and the money has been put back in my total and it is as if the transaction never happened!?!?!?! I called Apple and everything is clear on their end. It is supposed to deliver on Oct 1. I think it has left Hong Kong.
Anyone else have this happen in regard to the charges? I'm guessing the charging process will happen again once it reaches the the US or some certain point?
I'm wishing I had waited in a 6 hour line on the 14th instead of waiting like this for 11 days.

Ok that is horrible, I thought mine was bad! I think anyone who had the bad luck to be on the doomed 9/23 7:35p arrival in ZhengZhou Arrival scan was routed to the twilight zone.
Did anyone from 7:35p 9/23 really ever get thier phones ?
I have been stuck in China since Sunday but at least I never had hope lol !

It's a mess, at least I am not alone. Love the post about the Chinese Mafia absconding with our 9/23 shipment. I mentally did an entire episode of CSI Triad -ZhengZhou.
Maybe I am in Korea maybe not, got a scan today 1st update in 4 days. Whatevs right ? I am just gonna try and chill Oppa Gangman style cause cleary I could be anywhere at this point.

Come on UPS!! What is the deal?! So my 2 packages left their place of origin, went to Korea, went back to China and then back to Korea again?
My only hope is this: "Forwarded to the facility in the destination city."
Anyone know what this means? All of this tracking insanity would require a masters in rocket science to understand, but to me, this means that it may be at its destination location? Anyone else have this on their tracking and/or received an explanation from UPS?

UPS can't figure out whay I don't have a delivery date yet - by yesterday on chat they said delivery today... I gues we shall see!

OK, now am confused (again, or still?). Got a UPS My Choice delivery email at midnight last night indicating delivery tomorrow between 4 and 7PM, but the tracking page still shows it in Korea.... Man, UPS was NOT ready for this. At this point, I'm not blaming Apple any more, looks like they got my phone to UPS 4 days ago, and it is just now getting out of Asia...

Now that you mention it.. i noticed that last night. "Pending" charge last weekend when i got my shipment email, but last night it there was no charge on my CC.
This reminds me of when I was at the UPS store and the UPS employee there told me that "Apple is controlling the shipments and you dont pay us, Apple pays us and you pay Apple.."

Yea my charges dropped as well. I just took it as the hold they placed expired, I think my bank allows 7 days. I still have expected delivery of tomorrow (27th?) but of course its in Korea.
Actually, if they indeed did clear the customs in Korea, there should be no other hiccup and the 9/28 date should still be possible. It also finally explains, why the shipment got broke to different parts and our stayed in Korea this long. I'm also waiting in Toronto.
That article is a month old, so it shouldn't be affecting our shipments. Apple / UPS really have screwed the pooch with this entire pre-order process.
