When did yours get to Louisville? How long to clear customs?

Just got mine. No visible scratches that I can see through the plastic. Not taking that off until I can get a case.

No dead pixels. Screen looks good.

Good luck to those of you still waiting. I know it isn't easy!

Off to play with Siri.

Has yours cleared customs yet? Still waiting for mine to clear.

Still in Louisville, scheduled for tomorrow despite UPS My Choice saying today.

Another poster here was in Louisville and got a "Severe Weather" update at least, but was delivered regardless. Why can't we get that update?

I really wish Apple let us late purchasers at least choose the method of shipment, but I get that our phones were just made literally last week so that kind of evens things out for me.

My UPS My Choice still does not give me the option to change delivery. I did a live chat and was informed that my delivery is apparently locked by Apple so I have to call them to change. And they didn't have a clue if my package, which is still sitting in Korea, was really in the air and/or if it will really make it to Nashville by end of day tomorrow.

My problem is I'm not going to be home and the phone will be delivered to my parents who are keeping our baby. So I shouldn't care... but since there's been this delay with my phone still hanging out in Asia, I'm tempted to have it delivered to where I will be, which is in another state. This might not be something I could even do via UPS My Choice but it's kind of annoying not even having the opportunity to try and do it.

in an attempt to see the positive, and surely set myself up for disappointment...

I have done some sleuthing around the interwebz. I hadn't gone back to the secondary sites to check anything, since they generally give me the same info as UPS, but I decided to check packagemapping.com:

6WTU

Hopefully, since this still reads that they are on their way to KY, they had actually reached there, with the other group that left Incheon on 09/24 @ 11:50pm.

Now, if they did, here is a something else that I figured out. I saw on the tracking for the guy in MA that there was a weather delay in KY this morning. His departure scan was at 5:04am, but it wasn’t until 5:48am that it left. I opened my trusty FlightTrackPro app and found this:

nzsN

Looks familiar, right?

I'm probably just a glutton for punishment for doing this to myself, but it is stopping me from raging in my cube :D

Anyone in a similar situation? China>Korea>China>Korea?

I agree. Looks like ours are both, hopefully, heading to the Aliso UPS station at the same time. Hopefully that's tomorrow and we'll have an end to this crazy journey.

Mine was originally supposed to come on 10/5......was delivered to me at work today. It's good in every way so far too! Very happy! I wasn't going to open it and wait until I got home, but the ladies I work with insisted I open it and they wanted to see it.

They originally walked into my office saying, "how much is this box worth to you...." lol

I was able to activate it over the cellular connection in just a few minutes....very simple process.

(Originally ordered 4:30am CDT on the pre-order launch day.)

Can you please post your tracking?

This is getting ridiculous :(

Korea straight to Louisville?

By looking at the screenshot above from packagemapping.com, is it confirmed that it is coming from Korea straight to Louisville?

Some folks mentioned Alaska. But the picture and tracking above is from Korea straight to Louisville.

Thoughts?

Mine was like that too on packagemapping.com but it was scanned in Anchorage then went on to Louisville.

I'm trying to look at the situation this way, but the difference between getting it Friday or Monday is big.

I left that school of thought behind when Apple told me they would be here by 9/28, and when UPS told me they would be here by 9/27.

UPS came to my work for their usual 2nd time just now and guess what?!?

Not a damn thing for me, that's what

Did you happen to check your iPhone 5's serial # on Apple's support page after UPS picked it up the first time? I'm curious if those of you showing two trips through ZhengZhou got new phones assigned to you the second time. Like the pallet really did get damaged/lost/stolen.

Apple's Support Profile page (where serial numbers can be found)

I didn't know that I could see the serial number within the UPS tracking. Where is it?

Not from UPS, from Apple in the link I provided... I meant that by the time it had been assigned a UPS tracking number, Apple knows which phone you're getting. If you use the link below and sign in with your Apple account, you'll see all of your devices. The iPhone 5 will be one of them and the serial number is listed there.

Apple's Support Profile

None of the reference numbers on the UPS tracking site (there were a lot of them) looked anything like my iP5 serial number, so I don't think you'll find it there.

The same jet goes from Korea to Alaska to Louisville. The tracker pages are just showing the start and finish of the overall route. I would suspect that if there was a change of planes for the precious cargo in Alaska, it would be showing Alaska as the destination. Pretty sure they just stop off in Anchorage for fuel and maybe add any additional Louisville-bound cargo to the plane.

First plane from Louisville to Newark departs in just over an hour, and my phone is still stuck in customs. UPS still says delivery by EOD tomorrow, but who know what delays occurred with the storm this morning.
