Here's the deal with that one....since Im on the same boat with you....
That plan should be en route to Anchorage and land within the next hour or so. Once that gets there, it will refuel, and should land in Louisville sometime early tomorrow morning...so hopefully you will see an update tomorrow morning...I dont expect to see anything till then. Take a look at UPS flight 61 and 63 that will be en route to AK then off to Louisville.
Once Customs clears the packages...they will be off to their final destinations.
That's what happened to me yesterday in Korea too... lots of folks who had phones with me from China to Korea were getting updates that they made it to Alaska later that day and I was hoping that mine just didn't get scanned because mine still showed to be in Korea. Turns out that the tracking was right and mine stayed the night in Korea. Made it out today though. There's evidently some major cargo shuffling that goes on in Incheon and I wasn't one of the lucky ones yesterday.
I just spoke to UPS Live Chat. This is the exchange:
Me: What does "Package has shipped and the delivery is being scheduled; check for updates later. / Forwarded to the facility in the destination city" mean, exactly?
UPS: That means that the shipment is in transit to the last package center, the one that will upload it into a delivery truck.
Me: Okay, so it's not in overseas still?
UPS: It appears to still be in Asia, however it is on its way to the US. The shipment will be delivered on Monday next week by the end of the day.

I think they will be scanned in AK as well. I think we should get an update in the next couple hours.

i think after midnight as well. i have never seen an updated status change other then in the middle of the night while i was sleeping.
Looks like my shipment missed the first plane to Newark, and it's not looking good for the last flight of the day scheduled to depart in an hour. Starting to think now my phone wont get here until Friday, which is what I was originally quoted by Apple before UPS updated delivery to tomorrow.
From what I saw on FlightStatus.com, UPS doesn't register flights very far in advance. I was trying to find out what was on the books for SDF --> IAH (Louisville to Houston) tomorrow and there wasn't anything. I changed the date to today though and there were three... Two in the wee hours of the morning, and one mid-afternoon. For Newark, it looks like they sent three planes that landed there before 6:00am today... Seems like you still have a good shot for tomorrow as long as it hops on one of those (assuming that they run that many flights tomorrow too).
I have that same line in my tracking and they kept telling me it's still in Asia preparing to leave. Its so confusing I don't think they really know what's up with these phones anymore.

I don't know what is wrong with UPS. I have never seen them as screwed up as they are now. I received an email yesterday to expect delivery today. I didn't believe that for a minute so no time lost, but I really expected it to be out for delivery tomorrow. It's like Apple has never released a new product before. It like UPS has never shipped a newly released apple product before.
I liked Apple a whole lot better back in the 80s and 90s when a friend of mine and I were about the only two people in the US who wanted anything with an

This has all but become an absolute circus, UPS originally dated me for a thurs. sept 27th schedule delivery date so I called to confirm this and it was to be delivered on sept 27 but now has pushed it to oct 1st as I called today.
My huge problem with this is I made arrangements to get this package to me, I even called to confirm this schedule date . I am going away on business this Saturday with no phone. I think this whole fiasco is utter BS and dislike being lied to.

I'm in Bryan/College Station... I usually get delivery the same day that it passes through Houston. I'm still showing delivery scheduled for tomorrow (and made it onto the Korea-to-Anchorage flight earlier today. Customs is the only wildcard at this point for us, I think/hope.

I'm also on the same shipment. You can sign into apple.com store and print out an authorization to leave the package without a signature, which you leave on your door... That's what I did, & will hopefully have it delivered tomorrow.
I am pissed off with UPS too.
Atleast Apple is trying to make it good by sending me a replacement package and offering me a free accessory.
All UPS is doing is loosing packages, showing incorrect information on tracking...
