woo hoo! my phone arrived at 2:22 today at my office - unfortunately, I am home for the holiday but my husband will bring it home to me.

They were ordered by the millions. It takes time to assemble each one. 13 hours in customs is a short amount of time considering how many items come through customs into this country every day. They have to validate whats on the entry list with what is coming into the country. Try sending to other countries. It takes days, and sometimes weeks to clear customs. 13 hours? Seems pretty fast to me.

So my confusion has been the fact that my phone was stated to be shipped on the 23rd. But it seems to be taking forever from one ups point to another. It was on Incheon Korea for like two days and just departed today.
4 days have laready past. How is this phone supposed to arrive in 3-5 business days?
Also, i had a delivery date initially when the phone was shipped,. But that has disappeared for the past few days? dont know whats going on

One of my orders is sitting in Hong Kong....UPS is still claiming it will deliver by COB tomorrow. Basically has moved from China to Hong Kong in 3 days. Total cluster
If you're in the US, I bet you'll have it in the next couple of days. I'm in the same batch as you. Should be landing in Alaska in about 2 hours, then it will head on to Louisville this evening. At the moment, UPS is still showing a delivery of tomorrow for me, but I'm thinking Friday is more realistic due to customs in Louisville.
Doubtful on the Custom's thing. Mainly because that doesn't hit till the plane gets to the US. There are some plane delays going on right now, but UPS is lagging in it's updating too. Some planes may also be waiting on shipments to arrive to the truck as well, so keep that in mind.
They originally said mine will be here on Friday, but there's no ETA right now. My two shippments are due to arrive in KY early tomorrow morning pending customs of course....so who knows...
Im gonna be pissed if it's screwed up and back in CN again!!!!!!
It should pop back up once it gets stateside. I never had one until it hit Louisville and from there it took them a day to get it to me.

Mine is the same, we must be on the same plane. You got to think though, if it's in China, nothing is going to happen until tonight. It's 3:30 AM in China right now, doubt UPS is shipping anything right now. My delivery date is Monday. I love that BTW, I ordered at 5AM EST on 9/14 - two hours after pre ordering started - and I have to wait forever for the phone. Worst service. Never preordering through Apple again, always going with AT&T

Next flight out of Hong Kong to Anchorage is probably 7:15PM local time which is 7:15 AM tomorrow EDT. That means it wont hit Louisville until 1AM on Friday and won't clear customs until Friday afternoon at the earliest. The likelihood of us getting our phones before monday is probably somewhere close to 0% at this point....
EDIT: unless of course we just missed the scan on this mornings (EDT) flight...

I have the exact same status. I'm hoping it is already in the air and the tracking has not been updated, there is a plane getting ready to land in anchorage from hong kong in about 2 hours. ups flight 63. then the same flight 63 is set to fly onward to louisville in just under 4 hours from now,
We all need to chill out. The UPS site has (usually) only been updating at 12AM for some reason. For all we know, our phones are somewhere completely different right now. I have to keep telling myself, "it's just a phone, chill out!" lol I got my delivery date, so now I know no one will be home to sign for the box, unless they get to my house at 7pm (which would be perfect cause everyone, but me, is home at 7pm)

My friend preordered through AT&T on 9/14 at around 2pm and got his on release day. Go figure! Fool me once, Apple.
The problem is that some people have seen updates of their phones leaving Korea while others, myself included, are still there. The hope is they're simply not scanning all of the crates/phones properly. But I lose hope in that because that's what I've been hoping for when it was on the ground for 2+ days in China and now for the 2nd day in Korea. And sadly they weren't really magically in the air. They were still on the ground until a new scan finally showed up. The only hope that the site isn't updating properly is that UPS still has my delivery end of day tomorrow and on time. So we'll see.
Question has anyone else with this funky tracking (like mine) received their phone? I've read on another discussion site that they received theirs today by surprise after having a tracking similar to mine, just trying to see if it's BS. I've been googling all day and my eyes are so DRY

Well, if your delivery date is tomorrow, I'd call up and complain if it doesn't show. Maybe they'll bump you to overnight shipping for free.
