My first order to ship showed updates within an hour when it passed through anchorage... still waiting in HK with the second order (which is actually the reverse order in which they were placed)
I'm in Southern California. I just got a tracking update that it left AK at 243pm, still showing delivery by EOD 9/27, but it's increasingly unlikely that it will make it by then. Maybe Friday?

Everyone one I know who I may point put ordered hours after myself received Express Shipping and all had their phones in hand last night. Both mine are expedited. One stuck in KY for 24 hours so far supposed*** to be here tomorrow and the other has been floating around in china for 4 days not going anywhere with delivery date 10/1 (after being told 27th, then 28th). If I wake up in the morning and either of these 2 dates change for the worse I feel sorry for the person who answers the phone at apple. I am going to rip some serious *******s over this. I'm sick of getting the run around and orders placed well after ours already here. /endofrant

Same here. Mine hasn't been updating in real time. Usually every night so I'm hoping that's the case again.
Package mapping showed that for me too at one point. But it was basically just listing its main drop off point. Not that it had really left anchorage yet.
I still don't have a date listed.. My wife's phone landed in Louisville @ like 1203am (Tuesday morning) and the first delivery attempt (north Atlanta) was same day...
By using that logic, If it lands in lousville early am.. I would expect to get my phone by Eod tomorrow..
But.. Hers went from china>hong kong> new York> louisville...
I assume it left AK heading to Louisville but all package mapping says is in transit from AK... Sounds like one up us could possibly get it tomorrow.. Good luck

Oh ok.. Yeah I didnt know what was going on.. Was hoping for a flight straight to Louisville
ok, my tracking said originally the 28th, then was changed to the 27th, during that time it went form china to korea, back to china back to korea, then Alaska , now it left Alaska this afternoon. But it still shows a delivery date of tomorrow. Whats going on ?
I ordered mine on the 15th at about 5PM Est. and I got an email today saying it will be here tomorrow by 3PM.

Me too! This gives me hope. Hope I wake up to an update that its on its way to Canada. UPS doesn't even quote an estimated delivery now. It vanished earlier this morning.
Original delivery was 10/05 then 10/03. Would be a nice surprise to get it by this Friday
Looking for some guidance. On 9/14!I ordered an Att 32gb via Apple with 2 week window, scheduled 10/5. My phone has now shipped from China with a delivery of 10/2. For several reasons, I have decided to drop att and switch to VZW and plan to purchase in store.
I was not under contract with Att before I ordered the phone but now am showing a contract commitment from 9/14/12 through 9/14/14.
1. When the phone arrives, can I easily return it to Apple?
2. Will that reset my contract commitment (i.e., I'll no longer be under contract with ATT)?

I am in the same boat... delivery on 9/27 and last update is Korea 8:30 on 9/25 - Ok so i can understand the "slipped through without scanning" in Korea, and maybe even Alaska, but how could it elude the scan in Louisville and for customs, and departing Louisville? That i just dont get?
Don't think so, have 2 different tracking numbers. It talks about each when tracking both separately.

11:00 am and waiting
After waiting all day, I missed the driver at 4;10 pm, and I'd left a signed note requesting that he leave it on the porch if I couldn't get to the door. I was able to intercept him at a Target near my house and get my iPhone. He said that he needed the release from from my apple.com order page, and if I'd gone to the ups hub to pick it up that there was a two hour line of iPhone customers waiting to get their package. Whew!

From reading hundreds of postings over the past few days, I don't really believe that it will mysteriously show up. Maybe one or two scans, but every possible location when others on the same dates/times have resurfaced. There's a real problem somewhere. I just want them to find me a replacement one SOON and let them (UPS/Apple) figure out what happened to the original device.
