Guessing customs finally got fed up processing all of these iPhones for the past week and said f' it, we are taking a pallet home.

UPS updated my delivery to 11:30-3:30 today. Unless UPS tracking is really screwing the pooch on these updates, not thinking it will be on that big brown truck as it whips past my house. Guess we will see what happens!

No status change overnight. Still stuck in Louisville for almost 35 hours!

I did receive a pre delivery email overnight advising me to expect delivery today between 10:30 and 2:30 (LMAO), but I also received one Tuesday advising me to expect delivery yesterday. The UPS overnight flight arrived at the airport about an hour ago.

Here's a huge note for you guys... I ordered mine on the first day and it said it would ship out October 9. The phone is currently sitting in Louisville Kentucky... So unless they're planning on sitting on iPhone stock for a while, it's just under 1000 kilometres away.

I dunno, but not looking all that great. The guys that got there the day before us are (in many cases) still sitting in the same condition that we just got to.

I think our only hope is that they unloaded our pallets for customs and stuck them in front of the guys from yesterday so they have to process ours to get to theirs.

At this point I'm thinking apple is doing something to these phones in conjunction with ups. Just think if they can hold out a few more days and deliver all of these in October then they can use them as sales in Q4. Q3 earnings have already been reported so getting our phones to us early means nothing for their numbers. I'm calling apple this morning and demanding a reason why one of my phones has been floating around china for 4 days and the other sitting in KY doing nothing.

Again sorry man. But it could be the type of shipping you have. I had express shipping cause I called and complained monday and they moved me up to next day shipping. so under the tracking page I had Worldwide Express. Does everyone that is stuck in Kentucky have Expedited?

I would expect revenue to be tied to the cc charge date or order date rather than delivery though. They've got our $ at this point. With the thousands and thousands of "where's my iPhone?" phone calls both companies are having to field I've got to think that neither is inclined to throw an intentional wrench in the works.

In Apple's eyes, this is all still "early delivery" technically since we were given an Oct 5 estimate when we ordered (at least that was the case for me). The biggest goof up here is that they let the tracking info start showing other things and those "other things" have not been consistent. If we were all still expecting Oct 5, none of the "hey yours got here before mine and I ordered first" stuff would be going on.

(I'm a little peeved too, don't get me wrong.)

It is when the item is purchased, not delivery. All these sales count for Q3

Contacted UPS about my package and not showing any delivery date and being stuck in Kentucky.

All I got was this:

"I understand how important is for you to have the status of your package. According to the system, this package is still in transit. Unfortunately, right now the system is not providing the scheduled delivery date.
It is necessary to keep on tracking the package in order to have the scheduled delivery date."

So, according to UPS, they don't even have an expected delivery date for me, and everyone elses expected date is most likely just a placeholder.

Worst shipping company I've ever used.

Expedited shipping, and final delivery is Newfoundland, Canada. Apple gave October 2nd delivery, UPS gave September 28th. However now there is no delivery date available at all.

I just thought the same thing! Ours must be on the same pallet. I hope they go their seperate ways soon. I show a delivery date of today by EOD and a status of on time but it's still sitting in Louisville. Not sure how that can be. I didn't even bother to put out my presign form today since I don't see how it will be delivered. Just hope for tomorrow delivery. Do you know if they will deliver Saturday?
