I am stuck in the same Incheon 8:30pm group as well showing a delivery date of tomorrow (not going to happen). I too want a replacement. It would be great to just have a pick-up at the apple store. I hate this crummy waiting till the stupid delivery date passes. I will never preorder with apple again!![]()

I have delivery date in BAltimore, MD. Tracking shoes stuck in Louisville.
Delivery date for today between 11:30 - 3:30... just a tease at this point!

Yeah a lot of us are in the same boat....having a complete FIT...or breakdown...while it sits in customs.
That package had a ship date that went from 10/5 to 9/28 to 9/27 and now...nothing. Yesterday UPS told me 10/1, but I can't believe that either.
I have another package still sitting in Hong Kong....due to arrive by 10/1...Siiigggghhhhh
STOKED!!!!

So this means we should expect it Saturday or Monday!! HA! Hopefully they're right about tomorrow.
But I have a real issue with them saying they're working on increasing capacity. There were plenty of estimates of the pre-order sales volume before 9/14, then they had exact #'s after 9/14. So demand shouldn't have been a surprise so they had plenty of time to plan ahead for capacity. Obviously UPS isn't up to the task. Wonder if this would've been an issue if Jobs was still around or if this would have been one of the minor details he would've insisted on being right ahead of time.

ABSOLUTELY NOTHING HAS CHANGED....![]()
Yeah, that is what rubbed me the most about that comment.
This obviously isn't Apple and UPS' first dance together. Sure, it was a record setting weekend of sales, but you've got to think that someone at the table would have been thinking "we could see sales as high as 'x' though, so our contingency plan is ______ if that happens."
So far, it seems that the contingency plan is to scramble around and keep baiting the customer with due dates that don't materialize. As I mentioned in a previous comment here, the entire problem here is merely poor management of expectations. If it's coming on Oct 5, great. Don't yank our chains and start accelerating that promise when 1) sales were higher than expected and 2) there are clearly some capacity issues early on.
And if all that is too much to ask, UPS, at least get your tracking system the capacity to deal with keeping us informed. As I also mentioned above, mine shows to be in Louisville (pre-customs) AND delivering today. I know you process millions of packages per day on a regular basis, but from a database standpoint, that's not all that outrageous. You seem to have a disconnect between Scheduled Delivery, Tracking, and the My Choice alerts... All three say different things when there is ultimately only one story to tell. Get your IT teams together in the same room and working together.

10 hours? Make that 30 for me and there's still no end in sightI have a question about the customs aspect too, didn't all the packages come with WorldEase to make the customs process streamlined and quicker. what's up with being stuck in Louisville for over 10Hrs?

This is the tracking info for my fathers phone. I'm guessing we'll be getting our phones by tomorrow assuming our packages follow the same pattern. Expedited shipping btw...
There is supposed to be a flight leaving in 10 minutes from HK to Alaska. Cross your fingers!
