Yeah a lot of us are in the same boat....having a complete FIT...or breakdown...while it sits in customs.
That package had a ship date that went from 10/5 to 9/28 to 9/27 and now...nothing. Yesterday UPS told me 10/1, but I can't believe that either.
I have another package still sitting in Hong Kong....due to arrive by 10/1...Siiigggghhhhh

I am stuck in the same Incheon 8:30pm group as well showing a delivery date of tomorrow (not going to happen). I too want a replacement. It would be great to just have a pick-up at the apple store. I hate this crummy waiting till the stupid delivery date passes. I will never preorder with apple again!
Finally spoke to a UPS Supervisor regarding the "delayed Incheon 8:30PM 9/25 shipment". According to her, this group of 1500 items are showing a delivery schedule of 10/1. She had no reason why their ups.com tracking system shows us a delivery of 9/27 EOD or why some of the UPS Choice members received the pre-delivery alert on 9/26. They are in fact, still in Korea. I've requested an email confirmation of what she stated and supposedly will receive that within the hour. I will still call Apple to complain. I would love to know how orders were selected for the expedited vs express options.

UGH..Thanks guys.. I'm traveling tomorrow afternoon and was planning on going into the office tomorrow. Looks like ill be working from home again.
I haven't had any luck with finding the flight my phone should head to ATL on.. anyone have suggestions on how to figure this out?
btw.. UPS truck just drove by my house.. oh boy it would be nice to it stop at my house
I was originally told Oct 5 when I ordered. It arrived yesterday. I got the notice that it was shipped on Saturday morning. It didn't leave China until Monday morning and was in my hands by Wednesday afternoon.

Yeah, that is what rubbed me the most about that comment.
This obviously isn't Apple and UPS' first dance together. Sure, it was a record setting weekend of sales, but you've got to think that someone at the table would have been thinking "we could see sales as high as 'x' though, so our contingency plan is ______ if that happens."
So far, it seems that the contingency plan is to scramble around and keep baiting the customer with due dates that don't materialize. As I mentioned in a previous comment here, the entire problem here is merely poor management of expectations. If it's coming on Oct 5, great. Don't yank our chains and start accelerating that promise when 1) sales were higher than expected and 2) there are clearly some capacity issues early on.
And if all that is too much to ask, UPS, at least get your tracking system the capacity to deal with keeping us informed. As I also mentioned above, mine shows to be in Louisville (pre-customs) AND delivering today. I know you process millions of packages per day on a regular basis, but from a database standpoint, that's not all that outrageous. You seem to have a disconnect between Scheduled Delivery, Tracking, and the My Choice alerts... All three say different things when there is ultimately only one story to tell. Get your IT teams together in the same room and working together.

So according to him, my phone is still sitting in Korea, with NO known date that it will leave! Oh, but he did apologize that he didnt know more? SERIOUSLY?
Question: has anyone received their phone with a status update of it still being in Asia?

I have a question about the customs aspect too, didn't all the packages come with WorldEase to make the customs process streamlined and quicker. what's up with being stuck in Louisville for over 10Hrs?
I have the exact same scan with nothing further yet a delivery date of today, a My Choice of today 1:30 - 5:30. I've reached the point where I put absolutely no stock in either of those delivery dates and will not expect any iPhone until I see a scan with "out for delivery" .
Does UPS Live Chat ever work in Canada? Mind has been saying "Live Chat is currently unavailable" all week, so I have to call.

Try over 30 hours for me... still sitting in KY, clogging up the works... Noone at UPS knows why, when or how it will ship.

that's CRAZINESS...what's the point of telling use the packages have "World Ease" so we get our packages faster and your still in Louisville for over 30 hours. I'm sorry that's crazy.
