Haha right? This is like how people behave on reality television show. It's just a phone, no need to get so worked up... especially since we were expecting an Oct 5 delivery date when we first ordered it.

Yea, exactly. You'd think UPS was a month behind the way people are raging about this.

This is a "Delivers October 5th" thread. It's September 27th.

A lot of people's delivery date got bumped up to September 28th. Again, it's only September 27th.

I'm hoping and wishing but...I haven't gotten a departure scan.
 
possible weather related...

Don't know if anyone saw this but yesterday the UPS site had a small alert notice that there was severe weather in the Louisville area that could affect operations and that due to weather issues there could possibly be delays beyond their control...

That was in the afternoon but has since been deleted from the site. Mine has been stuck in Louisville as well with an expected delivery between 12-4pm today in Chicago. :confused:

My original Apple receipt showed a date of 9/28. UPS gave me a date of 9/27 and then made it disappear. UPS CSR has no idea when it will be delivered. I just got off the phone with an Apple CSR and she told me it will definitely be delivered no later than 9/28.... sounds like a contract thing with UPS. When she logged into Apple's UPS site, she was able to pull up the delivery info. Apple knows more about UPS deliveries than UPS? My phone is currently sitting in Louisville.

wtf why does everybodys eventually updater yet im still stuck in ****ing china, it makes no sense, look at when yours was in china how is mine still there if it got there 2 days before? Apple and ups are a fail im officially gonna sell my iphone 5 for $1100+ on craiglist and pick up a sg3 or something

Great news that means it left a little over and hour and a half ago
 
Well, according to the article just posted on the front page of MacRumors, the iPhone 5 uses $0.41 of electricity to charge each year in the United States. So by UPS screwing with my order and bringing it 2 days later, they are actually saving me $0.001 off my annual power bill! Totally worth it :rolleyes:

Been following this thread for days. My dad's phone has been part of the 20:30 Korea group with EOD 9/27. Well...In the last 10 minutes, it just departed Korea (9/27 11:56PM) ??? HUH? I am pretty sure it will not be delivered today!

what about ppl that stayed home to receive the iphone because they were told it would be on the 27th?
