is everyone using your phone number to track via ups? or did you have to use a different number like order number?

I am only asking people who have searched via reference # on ups.com
Not people who have received a tracking number

From what I remember UPS doesn't do much for website updates over the weekend. I remember getting a few packages with no updates over the weekend and then on monday it was half way across the USA. I'm expecting the same thing to happen with this

Any of you new shipment guys check your production weeks with the serial number? Any week 38'ers out there?

Yes, two week 38's here. One on its way to Anchorage and one on its way to Hong Kong. These are for two teenage sons. I received mine yesterday and it was a week 32, which I believe is one of the earliest. It is perfect.

watch your bank accounts ....

watch your bank accounts if your online preorder has been backordered.
i was about to pay some bills yesterday and noticed my bank account balance was about $255 over what it should've been. i quickly looked for my preorder activity and sure enough it was gone, removed, reversed...whatever you want to call it...the at&t rep informed me that the charges were put back due to the iphone's backorder status. i was told that once it shipped, that the charges would be processed and an e-mail notification will follow. good thing i caught this, otherwise i would have probably unknowingly spent my iPhone money and would not be able to pay.
my first four digits of preorder are: 1306
order time: 5:15 am Friday
shipping status: processing

Mine is week 38. Sitting in ZhengZhou as far as I know... has not even left for Hong Kong yet.

I got this on mine:

ZhengZhou, China 09/22/2012 10:55 P.M. Arrival Scan
09/22/2012 10:45 P.M. Departure Scan
09/22/2012 6:26 A.M. Origin Scan
China 09/22/2012 11:18 A.M. Order Processed: Ready for UPS

How do you get the serial number of the phone? I don't see it in the 'now shipping' email or on UPS..By the way.How are people getting the nice graphical version of their status into their posts? I can only grab the text part as above.

If the phone is shipped, the serial number is on https://supportprofile.apple.com

I used TinyGrab to capture the shipping info and post it here.

Mine ONLY has an origin scan... Strange

Mine are just north of the Bering Strait on schedule for an 11:30PM AKDT arrival in Anchorage.

I can see Russia from my iPhone.

You can use the phone number your account is associated with or your order number minus the last 2 digits. It may work for either.

My phone is production week 38 as well, if our plane hasn't left already, hopefully it leaves in the morning!
