Yes, mine also says Oct 1st delivery. On packagemapping.com it shows a direct shot from China to KY.
They all say that, but it lands in Alaska first anyway. Always. But it's a short trip.

UPS flight 65 is expected to arrive to Anchorage at 12:36 AKDT (4:36 pm EDT) and then continue to Louisville (departing at 3:05 pm AKDT and arriving 12:48 am EDT), where it will clear customs.
It'll probably sit in customs for 10-12 hours before being released back to UPS to send out to the regional centers. So I'd expect it on Thursday.
I'm finding that UPS update times are delayed big time right now. I would suggest getting on the UPS chat to get updated ETA's. Mine has gone from 10/5 to 9/28 to 9/27(UPS website) and now it's 10/1 according to UPS chat
Which is right on par with what UPS is quoting me (EOD on Thurs). Still one day earlier than what Apple originally quoted in their shipping email.
This must be the flight mine is on, because most recent status shows it departed Korea at 11:59PM (after arriving at 8:30PM) on 9/25.
My status via UPS tracking is still showing 9/27 delivery by EOD (Alabama). Hoping it arrives tomorrow instead!

Mine arrived in Korea at the same time, but still does not show it has departed. I'm getting concerned mine missed this flight. REALLY hoping that UPS did not update mine, unlike you guys. I think I am just wishfully thinking though.
Mine arrived to Korea at 8:30PM, but I don't have any update about it leaving. Do you think they just missed a scan, or did they maybe break the shipment to smaller parts that early? Is there anyone else with arriving status, but not departing? My phone is going to Canada.
I feel like I am having the worst luck with this shipment. All I know is, if I get the phone Friday or Saturday, I will be happy as hell.
I've found with my two phones that the departure notification didn't show up on UPS's tracking page until 1-2 hours after the plane has already left for the next hop.
Is it weird that I don't have a delivery estimate through UPS? Does that appear after the phone makes it to America?
Usually after the package clears customs. Because customs can hold a shipment for as long as they like before releasing it to UPS.

I'm in the AT&T 64gb Black crew that were scanned in Louisville this morning at 12:41am and my tracking page just updated to show delivery tomorrow when it was first updated to show Thursday delivery a few hours ago. Took a little longer than some others but now I know for sure that it's coming tomorrow!

Same here, and I'm on the east coast. I guess it updated after the Import Scan (Customs?) in Louisville, KY.

Here I am, watching a little airplane icon crawling across my computer screen waiting for a little box I've never seen before (but it's "mine") to land in Alaska, then eventually Louisville KY where I will wring my hands waiting for the little box to clear customs so I can get an actual delivery date. On said delivery date I will pace the floors, peeking out the window for a brown truck to pull up in front of my house and hand me the little box. Inside the box is a phone... Mind you, I already have a phone and I don't actually "need" a phone at all.
I think I must be losing it.

The UPS tracking has been very lacking throughout the entire shipping process, getting updates once a day in the mornings and nothing else.
