The UPS tracking has been very lacking throughout the entire shipping process, getting updates once a day in the mornings and nothing else.

Well, finally cleared customs.
 
The fact that I get different information depending on what tracking service I use is annoying.

UPS only says that it left China. Packagemapping.com did say it was on it's way to Louisville, but now that's gone. Boxoh says it's still in China. Packagetrackr says it's sitting at the local UPS facility in the town I live in.

This is annoying because I need to know when it'll be delivered because I'll have to work from home that day.

Came in an email shortly after I signed up for UPS My Choice. The UPS tracking page (and all the package tracking pages) still shows it 'ready for UPS' in ZhengZhou.

Well, it likely gets to the sorting location the day before they put it on the delivery truck....

Anyone in the ZhengZhou 4:10 pm departure scan group had any updates from UPS?

My other order had an arrival scan in ZhengZhou 10 minutes after the departure scan and sat there for two and a half days... I hope this doesn't take all day to make the 10 minute trip the other one did and this really is just UPS not updating their tracking/using a different carrier to get the phones state side.

The site requires 90 minutes to 2 hrs before the options are active. Did the same thing myself.
 
Was just told by UPS to not believe what UPS My Choice is saying if you don't have a delivery date on your UPS tracking page. That means they have no idea when it will arrive. This just gets crazier by the moment.

Called UPS and said the next update will be at midnight.

I expect that UPS was only able to commit to a certain percentage of Express or Expedited. It seems to me that the normal UPS service is simply not setup to accomodate a couple of million 'extra' packages in any give 2 day period. Most of the issues we seem to be seeing appear to be shipping company issues, not Apple issues. While we are beating Apple up, it is more likely that the number of packages simply overwhelmed UPS.

I was hoping to be in Alaska too, but I'm still showing to be in Korea...

Right after UPS 65 landed, I got an arrival scan on my UPS page.

I'm in the same boat as you. My delivery date from Apple is Oct 1. How about you?
 
So finally have a 'delivery date' of 9/27 by end of day on the UPS tracking page, but the status below still shows the phone in ZhengZhou, 'ready for ups'. Got a My Choice email indicating it will deliver between 3 and 7pm on Wednesday 9/26. Am optimistically assuming that the My Choice system knows something.....

No delivery date from UPS as of yet... but happy enough to know that my phone is in the states and will most likely be in my hands by the end of the week!
