So I've been "stuck" in Korea for almost 48 hours now. I know that UPS has a ton of tracking numbers to update, but no change for me for 2 days? Others that have similar departures from Korea seem to be getting notifications that they'll get their shipments tomorrow.

Can anyone in a similar situation that is either still stuck in Korean limbo, or has info like mine that then shows movement to Alaska>Kentucky>Departure for local hub, chime in with some sage advice or words of encouragement? :p

Also, if anyone in the MD/DC Metro area could tell me if their tracking shows movement this way, or one of you knows how to see if there's a flight from Louisville>Baltimore (BWI) tonight or tomorrow morning, that would really help.

I have the exact same time and date for my departure scan in Korea- then I went to Anchorage, then Louisville, and recently departed Louisville and on its way to my home town- so I would think it's more likely yours is at least in Louisville and they haven't updated it yet...
 
One possible unintended benefit for us late-receivers is that from all accounts, and now including my own, Week 38 iPhones have not had the scratches/scuffs of the launch day phones.

Scuff gate phones seem like they were all from Factory F1, Week 38 deliveries seem to all be from F2 so maybe we'll have better quality control!

My other order had an arrival scan in ZhengZhou 10 minutes after the departure scan and sat there for two and a half days... I hope this doesn't take all day to make the 10 minute trip the other one did and this really is just UPS not updating their tracking/using a different carrier to get the phones state side.

What's going on is you're preparing for shipment.

It may be uneasy, but there's nothing you can do but wait.
 
hubby's phone is scheduled to be delivered tomorrow... i still haven't told him! he's going to be surprised cuz he's still expecting it oct 5th....
 
I assumed that my delivery would be about 7:00 pm tonight. That is when UPS normally comes by my home, drop off the package, ring doorbell, and leave.

Instead, my tracking showed an attempt after 9:00 am this morning. I went home for lunch, saw the tag, and that they would attempt again tomorrow morning while I was at work.

I called them, had them hold it, then showed up at 5:30 which is the earliest they thought the driver would appear. I got it at 5:55. It is now restoring from backup.

Looks physically OK. No scuff marks that I could see.

Mine was delivered this morning at 10am too. But for some unbeknownst reason my friggin mother-in-law didn't answer the door, so they didn't leave it! WTF!!!
 
Careful using My Choice everyone! They held my two iPhones in confusion after I changed to a UPS Store delivery. One is going to be there tomorrow. The other they're not quite sure of the location.

My Choice contacted me this morning and told me a package I was expecting from a different company. Would be delivered today. The problem however is that I got the package yesterday.

So painful... I could have flown to the Foxconn plant, walked through the riots, picked up my phone and been back already... Has anyone who ordered early on 9/14, with an original delivery date of 10/5 STILL have a 10/5 estimated date? Or has everyone been pleasantly surprised except for me?
