That's a big difference to me. I'd love to have it over the weekend.

My Apple email says Oct 1. Hoping for 9/28. You have only potentially a 1 day difference. I have a weekend to wait it out if it doesn't pan out.
Were you Worldwide Express or Worldwide Expedited? I had the same arrival/departure scan out of ZhengZhou but apparently mine is still enjoying the sites of Korea.
Yeh we all feel your pain it's really hit or miss, two steps forward and then more waiting for some. Some are zipping through early and we are all jealous but happy for them. Mine like yours was processing 4ever then shipped but I am in that Sun 9/23 7:15 crew that has had no updates since Sun sitting on the ground in China with no delivery date or new info for 3 days now.
It's frusterating and I hope yours once shipped gets a non-stop ride.

Stealth Phone
Thought I'd share my strange journey. Ordered at 4am Central so got the 1-2 wk reply. Patiently waited and then got the Apple "your item has shipped and will arrive on the 28th" email on Saturday morning. A few hrs later UPS logged that an order had been received and would be trackable when it was picked up. And there it sat unchanged the rest of Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday morning.
I finally called UPS who said that they had not yet received the phone from Apple! A call to Apple and they said yes UPS did have it. After some hold time while Apple and UPS "talked," the Apple rep told me the phone was somewhere in transit and that when it scanned I would get an email. (So no real information) He also gave me his direct connection which I appreciated.
Less than 2 house later, UPS posts a customs scan in Louisville as of almost the exact time I was on the phone. That was 10 hours ago and no updates since.
I think the real story here is the really poor UPS tracking updates. If my phone arrives tomorrow (in Kansas City) which I think may happen, the sum total of UPS updates will be: waiting for pick-up, customs scan, delivery.
One last note: I have really enjoyed and appreciated the banter and updates here. It has been fun. One thing I have noticed is that there are two levels of excitement - the:
1. "Wow, it's almost Christmas I hope Santa's OK" level
and the
2. "When will the flight with my new liver for the transplant get here?" level
but the it IS an iPhone!

Classic. The main thing I'm pissed about. I ordered both of mine 7am CT. My ups emailed today and said 26th, then later was revised to the 27th for one. The phone ordered first has yet to get an estimate besides apples 28th. Ups tracking completely broken. 2 co workers who ordered hours after me got both theirs today with perfect ups tracking all the way. Theirs shipped the 21st mine shipped 23rd and 24th supposedly.
On its way to small town Ansted, WV. 64GB AT&T ordered at 4:06a on 9/14. Ladies and Gentlemen, it's been a fun ride. Everyone enjoy their phones and Let's Go Mountaineers!
