iPhone 5 Best Buy Preorders

Was this an out of contract phone? If it was, was it $60 on top of a price match for their $50 markup? Because then you only saved $10.

Best Buy is not allowed to discount any Apple products, so they discounted $60 off my total purchase. Subsidized phone price ($399.99) and wireless hdmi kit ($199.99) is what I purchased. So they took the $60 off the hdmi wireless kit.. $139.99 for the wireless kit..

A buddy of mine just called a local BB for me just to see what they had and sure enough they had 64GB black AT&T 5s. Wish they had a 16.

I keep seeing stock in and out of their website daily. I will have time to make some calls tomorrow to verify.

So about 40 minutes before closing we had 30+ people trying to purchase and activate phones, a process that takes 15 minutes minimum. Guess how big our mobile phone department is?


3 ****ing people.

This company needs to die already. It sucks for the customers and its even worse for the employees.

I feel you brother. Used to work at Best Buy, hated seeing customers coming in en masse wanting to upgrade.

Don't forget trying to sell them on cases/screen protector/chargers/whatever else they don't need. And GSBTP and Buyback!

Upgrading/new lines are pretty easy though...probably 10 minutes at the most. Most are on the quicker side of things if you really want it to be.
Get the phone -> BEAST -> get customer information -> Sign contract -> activate phone/put SIM card in -> done

But if it's like porting a number or something...fml.

I just found out the Best Buy in Lake Forest, CA has 10 AT&T phones available:

1 16GB white
7 16GB black
2 64GB black

Its first come, first serve so you need to probably get down there quickly. Just got this info like 5 mins ago.

Wow! Did you check their website for their stock or was this a random call? It seems like everyone is rushing the Apple stores and forgetting about BB and other retailers.

I actually was checking the Best Buy site for my brother (I got the iphone 5 already) and it said there were iphone 5's available at the Lake Forest store.

I called the store, the guy checked their inventory and told me what he had.
