No, it does not -- no matter how many parrot that meme. You can easily use more data but faster data does not automatically mean more usage. It's a subjective matter. If you're prone to using more data with faster data then that's a characteristic of you and not your carrier's data network.

I used to use a little less than 2gb but when I got the i5 I will clearly go over 2g because I used to stay away from videos and browsing because it was so slow on 3G.

4GB of data between my iPhone 5 and wife's 4S on Verizon's Share Everything plan. Could probably have gotten away with the 2gb but didn't want to take a chance for boy $10 a month.

Those of you with unlimited, are you actually using more or less data in the long run then a lesser plan would offer you? Would you actually be saving money by changing to a lower plan? Do you just like knowing you have unlimited?

I am in Vermont and we have no LTE. Clearly faster network = more data use.

I've looked at my bills going back to summer 2011 and I've only used 800MB in my largest month. Certainly "pre paying" for unlimited vs having a lower plan, saving money and if needed bumping up if needed would be more ideal.

I use 25-30gb per month on vzw unlimited LTE

4 gb/month for $30. Got in on their double-data LTE promotion with my Droid Razr. Got to keep it for the iPhone 5. It's the only reason I went with the Razr over the 4S when I started with Verizon.

Unlimited with AT&T.

I get FAN discount on each line of unlimited data so Mobile share isn't worth it. Our sons 4S is jailbroken so if we need to tether iPad on the road we can. Never tethered though but good to have.

And even though all lines except 1 line uses 4+GB/month we never been throttled.

Even if I do get throttled on my iPhone 5 I hope to get throttled to HSPA which I'm VERY satisfied with anyway.

on a 10GB share plan with AT&T

i was on unlimited until recently, and really never wanted to give it up. but i really wanted facetime over cellular and a 3GB soft cap with that unlimited plan still made it much less appealing.

There are 5 iPhones on my plan and they average about 7 GB's a month, with me being about half of that. So I still have a cushion, and I have facetime over cellular, tethering, and no soft cap at 3GB. PLUS when we switched, it saved about $30 a month. Those plans admittedly only make sense at about the 4+ phone mark though.

Grandfathered AT&T Unlimited. Thinking about a Data Share plan but waiting to see what my usage does with the LTE service. I am browsing more without the 3g download wait times, lol.

6GB Mobile Share, 3 iPhones. The ability to tether is far more useful to me than a theoretical unlimited that I would never be able to actually utilize.

My family's avg usage is about 4GB/month give or take. With the price difference between 4 and 6GB being $4 after discount, why not take 6GB?

It replaced my home internet. I stream movies and TV a lot on my ATV3 and Roku boxes. I run up 30-80GB/mo.
