iPhone 5 Reservation at Apple Store

Seems like tonight is a VZW night while the other night was AT&T.

There were a lot of AT&T out there too. Every store lit up on the first two pages from my zip lit up as "In Stock" for 16gb and 32gb White AT&T again.

Had been on the fence until last night (when nothing was available around here for AT&T), but got one tonight. Good luck everyone!

Ended up w/ 16g white. Wanted 32g but saw no need to spend the extra $$. The white is growing on me. You got one, right?

I'm enjoying the chase here in the Uk.

Here we can put in a reservation request from 9am and will find out by 9pm the same day via e mail.

There are plenty of contract units floating about but not so in the sim free version or pay as you go !

My 10th attemp today.

Had a black one at launch with nicks on the case. Sent it back and managed to nab a 32GB in white SIM free at Braehead via online reservations. The white has actually grown on me and I now prefer it. Looks more different than the previous white ones. And the chamfer, stupid though it is looks nicer.

Was looking at my Bold 9900 and it has a chamfer too - but in stainless steel. Now THAT would have been cool!

Why would white look unprofessional ?

It's seems flashier which I guess doesn't exactly equate to unprofessional. I haven't seen either of them in person yet so I'll find out if I like it tomorrow.. If I don't, then I'll probably just get a black 4s or whatever.

I ordered last night, and got my pickup email this morning at 7:50AM, but my store isn't supposed to open until 10AM. Does this mean they are opening early, or should I wait until 10?

I am on the phone with the store right now and they are telling me that they currently don't have them available or in stock and as soon as they get stock, then their reservations customers will get a pickup e-mail.

This sounds a bit crazy, why are they selling phones they don't have. AND they already put a charge on my credit card.

I said let me speak to a manager and all of a sudden it went to processing and they'll be ready in a few hours. I knew I should have ordered from 5th.
