iPhone 5 Reservation at Apple Store

Looks like the New Jersey Apple Stores got a lot more stock today. There was only one showing any stock for me yesterday. There was 3 or 4 that showed stock tonight.
 
I just want to make sure I do this right tonight, so for all of you who landed phones tonight, did you just refresh by hitting the "locate" button until the stores showed "in-stock"?
 
There were many green "in stock" signs tonight all over Tri-state ny area. I got one at my ideal 2miles away store! (Where I'd never seen one available)

They didn't have any at 10pm. I was reloading a page a couple times and see other color and checked again in black, and I saw there were many availability.
I got a black 16 gig Verizon.

Tonight might the night for you too.

Yeah that's what I did the last two nights. I got the order in but wasn't fast enough to click the place order but got it tonight. :) Picking it up in the AM.
 
FINALLY got it! VZW 16 gb were instock in alot of places around my area in FL. I just kept clicking Locate and around 10:03 it showed Instock. So happy!
 
I had everything set up in check out at 10pm and clicked pick up in store. I don't know I was clicking like crazy kept entering zip code, closing the window, entering zip code, closing the window, finally it went from unavailable to green around 10:03 and thankfully just ordered via my Apple ID which had my credit card and info already entered in. Seemed too easy. Hope this helps.
 
I think Apple's reindeers flew all over the East Coast tonight lol..hopefully they're on their way to the West Coast too :rolleyes:
 
FYI: You don't have to keep closing the window, just click locate. That is sufficient to update stock when it's time.
 
Doesn't look like Augusta got much of anything tonight - and I've gotta be the only person in Augusta sitting here trying to do this. I'm the only person who lives in this city.

You can practice checking out with trying to pay the shipping in November order. Just do not click the very last step. Even if you did, you can cancel.

For people paying not with gift cards, like i used credit card, make sure you remember you 3 digit code on the back of the card. Also, I think you need to remember your apple password..

Good luck, I missed out on one last Friday as I was slow. Got a black Verizon 16 gb today.

You'll have to enter the gift card and stuff to your account on the payment section.

I'm not sure, but if you can apply it to your account first before checkout, it might go faster.

There is a link for using multiple payment methods.

If it were me, I'd probably save the gift card for something else later and just do it on a saved credit card first. This way nothing delays you checking out, remember it's not your phone until the site says "thank you"
 
If I just leave the phone in my cart, can I just refresh when it gets closer to 10p my time? Or shall I start from scratch at 10? I have a phone in my cart currently....but 2 hrs to go until 10. What is best way? I scored one last week, now trying to get one for my husband.
 
Just leave it. You can leave the change store window open too. Start slamming that locate button at 9:58 and hit next at the bottom until you see green.

refresh every so often so your session doesn't time out.

Or start over like 30 minutes before 10pm, that's what I did.

Then I kept hitting the locate button over and over and over again until I saw green.

Has anyone who got their orders in tonight received the confirmation email (not store pickup one) from Apple yet?

I see it in my orders page but no email yet.

I haven't either but my account on Apple says it went through. I ordered a 32 in black.
 
FINALLY! 16GB white Verizon was in stick at Woodfield (Schaumburg, IL) at 10:03. Snagged it up! The wife can finally join my plan and join the Android crowd!
