iPhone 5 Reservation at Apple Store

Where are you seeing that apple has stock? Milo? Or where?

They do have some set aside for walk-ins.
 
is reservation just for upgrade only or i can buy it with fullprice? Also, is the person ordering it have to be there to pick it up? or i can pick it up even my friend ordering it for me? thanks

Reservations are for upgrades and new lines only, from what Ive seen.

Whoever is on the cell account as an authorized account manager can walk out with the phone. Has to be verified as well, not just the cc holder info.
 
Yes they do have some set aside for walk ins if they have some in stock the night before. I'm in line right now outside the store with a card! Now I have to wait 40 minutes for the store to open LOL.

You can buy it full price. I did.
 
So I got a call from the Apple store that I reserved from, turns out they did not have any 64GB Black iPhone 5 on Verizon. -.- Thankfully they had 32GB and said I can come back within 30 days and swap it to a 64GB if that's what I really want.
 
Question about this process. I apologize, I'm sure this has been asked but with this thread 124 pages strong and the search function down looking on my own is a little difficult.

But the question.. I understand that inventory is posted at 10 and it is first come. But are they holding a seperate inventory for those that go to the store and line up (if people are even doing that)? I called but didn't get a really definitive answer and guy really just seemed annoyed answering another iPhone question, which I get. If they aren't it seems that the Tampa area hasn't gotten a VZW phone this week.

Yeah, I'm starting to get frustrated. For some reason my store here isn't getting any 32GB AT&T black models and hasn't since Monday. I may drive around town looking tomorrow at Walmart, Best Buy and Target just to see if I stumble upon one. Although I guess I can check online at Best Buy to see if they have them before I go.
 
I reserved one last night at 10 PM. I picked it up today.

Well Tampa finally got some, all I found were 32gb white in both stores.Really wanted blk so we'll see how this white grows on me.

Hopefully you get lucky. That's what I was originally trying for. They showed up at every store that popped up on my list EXCEPT for the only store close to me. Changed the model to black and tried again, didn't see any at all. Changed models again and scored the white 32. I was on the fence between the 16 and 32 anyway, so it looks like Apple decided for me.

Already got the pick up email, so now I'm just counting down the time 'til the store opens. 11 hours, 15 minutes 'til retirement for my battle-weary old 3GS!

Ordered for pickup at store ... Still waiting for email ... But anyone know how long they'll hold it for me? I won't be able to get to the apple store until Monday morning ... Will they give my reserved phone away?

You will get an email or check your spam folder. Then the 'we are ready' for pick-up one - you'll receive it before 8:00 am your time. They will hold it for a week.
 
How are y'all finding out the inventories of these store? Can you find out how many phones your local Apple store has??
 
yeaaaahhhhh just scored one:D and now i hope they are ready to give it to me on no commitment price lol!
 
No 16gb White in Whitehall, Pa :(

this is my first time doing this. I know it says between 10-4, but don't they usually release them at 10? Has anyone ever got "not in stock" and then after midnight got "in stock"?
