I don't think they get shipments on Sunday so the system doesn't work Saturday night. I believe you have to wait till Monday (aka Sunday night) for it to work again.

iPhone 5 Reservation at Apple Store

I don't think they get shipments on Sunday so the system doesn't work Saturday night. I believe you have to wait till Monday (aka Sunday night) for it to work again.

Looks like an east coast snafu at 10 pm. Inventory locked until nearly 10:20. May be some Saturday night specials for those who lingered. Good luck everyone!

I'm new here so if any questions I'm asking have already been asked/answered, sorry.
Anyone have any luck at the Apple Store in Cincinnati, OH (Kenwood)? I've been trying the online thing at 10pm every night for a week and nothing. I'm trying to get my hands on a White 16gb Verizon one.
It's Saturday night so the online reservation isn't even working I'm guessing since it's the weekend. The guy at the store said they get shipments in every day but Sundays.
Anyone know what time they typically get their shipments in each day? And how many they hold for walk-ins or do they just sell what they have and at the end of the day if there's any left, they show them on the inventory at 10pm online?
Just wondering if I should start going in the mornings and seeing if they have any for walk-ins.
I was hoping to get one before we go on vacation in a little over a week.
It's making me NUTS! I neeeed my white iPhone 5! I read about people who are able to still find them and I don't understand why I'm not finding one anywhere. I call around every day and nothing.

Long time lurker but my brother and i had placed orders at At&t on 10/1 and 10/2 but once we realized that we wouldnt get our phones til november most likely i did my research noticed we can do a reservation but because we had used our upgrade we couldnt even use the reservation and we called at&t but since we ordered in store we couldnt cancel our orders unless we went in store, i checked last night and all 3 of my local stores had stock but couldnt get one due to not being eligible. So today we went to at&t and canceled our orders, went on tonight had the 10pm glitch or whatever it was but at 10:20 managed to get in and both place our orders for pickup. By far the fastest route to get your ip5 ill post back tomorrow with an update about finally getting over this long iphone wait.
I was finally able to snag a 64GB Verizon model in black! This was the first night I was able to find any model in SE Michigan. Damn excited!
Congrats! I couldnt find any Black iphones on my side of the state so i had to go with a white 16GB.
No there was a bug. I was able to order at 10:16. Got the black vzw 16 in NJ. Not the location I wanted as its 1 hour away but it will do. Much better than waiting till November 20th.
I was originally looking for 32GB but those seem almost impossible to get. Switched over to 64 GB just to see and 3 stores in my area had them, although not the Somerset location which is closest. I couldn't resist.
I dont know if you guys can help me. When I tried purchasing the phone through the online reservation method on both Verizon and Att it says that I require a deposit and to try at an apple retail store. I guess this must have to do with a credit check. I am a student and havent had any credit history to my name. Anyone know what my options now are ?
So the store is closed today. Does thus mean I will get the pick up email tomorrow? Because I haven't gotten it yet...
What provider? I was trying all evening in SE Michigan last night from 10am to about 1am (while watching the Tigers almost blow the game against the Yankees), and I must have tried from 10-10:15, 11:00, 12:30, and at 1:00am. Was looking for a 64gb black AT&T, and the system never updated as showing available for pickup at any store even close to being around here. The same thing happened on Friday evening too. Was I missing something?

I don't believe they get FedEx shipments during the day on Sundays (the shipments normally come in around 2pm during the day and become available for reservations that night at 10pm), so I doubt anything would be available tonight. I'm still check if I remember tonight around 10pm, but I'm not expecting anything. Better chance on Monday evening, as they should hopefully get a shipment during the day on Monday.
As far as I know, there are a few stores in NJ which are not open on Sunday. Such as Paramus, NJ Garden State Store.

I asked them once about this. Apple said they do not receive shipments on Sunday and it is only left over from Saturday inventory which is close to 0% by the time you hit Sunday night.
Just something for reference, if anybody is going for a sprint phone or thinking to switch to sprint. You might be able to just go into the store to find one. I was at an apple store for roughly 5 hours yesterday (thank you Verizon). The apple store had two sprint phones the entire time I was there and no body really wanted them. I know they are not popular, but for those who do want them, give it a try.

Keep on checking, it's the stupid Verizon credit system backing up (so they told me). I had the same experience many times already, I was trying to add a 10th line onto my family plan, and I went through the system 5 times before the apple online system finally says okay and let me put the phone in the cart. Remember, although though you will be able to add and reserve the phone you could very liking be ask to put down a deposit when you try to pick up the phone. I was asked for a $125 deposit.

agreed. every time i have gone in store the last few weeks, sprint phones have always been in stock.
To those in the LA area, the previous posters were correct on a few matters. One, there isn't any shipments on Sundays, so the 10PM reservation gamble works only Mon-Sat. Two, LA area Apple stores are getting small quantities (or at least that's what they tell me when I reach customer service).

I think it's more likely that they're getting normal quantities and demand is just insanely high in LA. I've been trying all week and haven't seen anything in stock here.
