iPhone 5 Reservation at Apple Store

ATT is down? My information isnt going through. They have to wait 24 hours for more information from ATT. AWESOME!
Im not sure if the phone is even worth it though. If i did manage to purchase, the phone would probably look like it went through a blender right out of the box.
Did anyone have any luck purchasing via walk-in WITHOUT a reservation? Im probably going to have to go that route. My iphone 4 is smashed into a bunch of little pieces.

Verizon? I didn't see any except at Palm Beach 64GB Black
Ever since the release of the iPhone 5 to more international markets, the inventory in the US for Verizon iPhones has gone down... This combined with the production issues has slowed our flow to a trickle.
At the beginning of October, nearly every store in the LA area would have at least a few Verizon phones.. now I'm lucky to see 1 or 2 32/64GB phones over the course of a week...
Bummer.

Is anyone else having problems with Apple's upgrade status? It worked earlier, but now says I have to go into a AT&T store to sign a new contract. Is this because AT&T's systems are down? I cannot log into MYAT&T either.
EDIT: Now I am getting this screen, guess it is a problem with AT&T's system. Hopefully I will be able to get one reserved tomorrow

Since AT&T is down tonight, I am thinking of walking into an Apple store at opening time as well. If no one can reserve an AT&T phone, that could mean a better chance of finding one in store. That is assuming they can push the upgrade through, or hold one for us until they can access the system.
I keep getting a message saying that Apple cannot reach the carrier. I know the line I am getting the iPhone for is eligible for an upgrade, but apparently Apple cannot reach AT&T to confirm. Kind of frustrating, it worked just fine earlier.

Seems like there were plenty iphones 5 left in houston tx! I forgot to order my second one earlier around 9:50. But i tried my luck around 10:40 and to my surprise it was available for pick up next day

My att information couldn't go through but I have a reserved i5. I've scoured the information on some recent Android devices & the image results just don't match the 4S/5. Hope I get a scratch & dent free one.

This is strange, literally no 32 or 64 or 16gb in black or white Verizon at all..

okay, let me make sure im doing this right.
at 9:55, i should go to the apple website. click "buy iphone." Choose my carrier, model and color. Select "new customer", put in all my billing address, ssn, etc, then at the check out screen choose "pick up." When the location box comes up, put in my zip code and keep clicking "locate."
Am i miss something? Just asking because ive been doing that for the past 3 nights and i get zero luck with the zip code 21250. ALl places are out of stock for me still.

As far as I know you're doing it fine, im doing the same and cant find anything within 100 miles from me and Ive tried every color and storage space for verizon
One tip is to save the item from your cart so the next night you can retrieve it vs re-entering all the info. I liked 'saved item' vs 'saved cart' because a retrieved saved cart doesn't let you change the model to try different ones. Don't forget to save each night. Also, when you save it and retrieve it, you're logging into your account saving time there.
Fill in your cc info in your profile so you don't loose the phone while checking out - but keep your cc security code handy.
If you see 'in stock' at other stores (keep selecting next) then you know inventory is released. Sometimes it's a few minutes after 10 before I start seeing 'in stock'. Just because its no longer greyed out doesn't mean inventory is showing up.
I understand stock is determined by shipments earlier that day, so probably nothing tonight - no Sunday shipments.
I got one after 3 nights.
