Yup. Almost feels like I'm being sold snake oil. At some point, I'm sure I'll get tired of clicking a button for 30 minutes at night. That said, I got myself in this mess. I ported my number from Verizon to AT&T (had the iPhone 5 on Verizon), but 3 weeks in, half of my calls still go directly to voicemail, so I'm headed back to Verizon.

iPhone 5 Reservation at Apple Store

I think I'll wait until tomorrow night. I'll take whatever option I have. If still nothing, Saturday night... and if nothing by then, I'm screwed because my black iPhone 5 needs to be back by Monday lol. There's never anything Sunday nights, right? Because FedEx doesn't ship on the weekend?

You're my opposite! I ported from AT&T to Verizon, but couldn't handle Verizon so I ported back to AT&T and am now waiting for another iphone. I had the Verizon iPhone 5 lol.

Okay, actually, I have 2 questions:
1) How long does the store hold the phone for? I've read 1 day but also 1 week.
2) Is it true that there's a reservation cancellation link in the confirmation email?
I'm thinking of just reserving this one to be safe. I might be able to squeeze in a drive to the city. If they hold it for more than 1 day, I could see what's available tomorrow night, and if I'm able to cancel, I could cancel the one I'd reserve tonight if I find one closer tomorrow and am unable to make it to the city.
Edit: well nevermind, looks like Uptown is out lol. Hopefully better luck for all of us tomorrow!

I got mine my first night trying (last night) and tonight I thought I'd check for the hell of it and I found them again at the exact same time.. updated at 10PM CST. (Yesterday I found them updated in major stores in Boston at 10PM CST as well.. and I live in Dallas.)

called a verizon store, they had iphone 5s in stock. drove 10 minutes and bought. No reason for this online reservation stuff. call your local provider stores, im sure they have them in stock.

And of course right before the iPhone order time they shut down the store. The most f'd up store model I've ever seen. Their servers are such ***** they have to close the store to make any changes. F'kn ridiculous.
