iPhone 5 Reservation at Apple Store

Nothing in OC, but you can take a look at LA, there were a few in different configurations that were instock.
Absolutely nothing so far in the Portland area, or the whole northwest. Watchful waiting tonight!

Was able to get one, east coast here, around 3am. (Woke to go to the bathroom, LOL). While up, I checked the site and reserve at my local store, Lehigh Valley PA, was available. Oped for a white 32GB ATT. I was on the fence over black and white, but I want the white and gunmetal gray Otterbox and frankly, I like the stormtrooper look so I opted for the white phone.
Can't wait to pick it up!

Last night say around 12 am PST I saw some in my area In Stock in Northern California, 32GB white versions but I didn't get to order one until today and it seemed much harder assuming now that everyone is getting tipped off by Apple Retail Reps to do the online reservation method to avoid waiting in the morning or waiting the extra couple of weeks for a preorder.
All the stores near me say "unavailable" for all the verizon models. Does anyone know if these stores receive new stock daily? I'm trying to figure out if it's worth it to get there first thing in the morning tomorrow (I'll have to call in late for work).

I would think they'd have something? I checked last night and NONE of my 30 stores had any AT&T models showing up.
Apples website says... "Buy it online between 10:00 p.m. and 4:00 a.m. for in-store pickup the next day. Limited quantities may also be available for in-store pickup on a first-come, first-served basis."

Can you stay on the store selection box or do you have to close it and reopen for the new stock (if any) to show up or do you just hit the locate button for it to update stock availability??

I managed to pick one up in the Kansas City area (Leawood store) last night. Got the confirmation email this morning that it is in stock and ready to be picked up. I had the iPhone in my cart on the Apple Store app (did that earlier in the evening), checked back at straight up 10pm central (local time), it automatically refreshed and gave me the option to pick up in store. I took my time, thinking it wouldn't work out and after everything was refreshed, I chose pick up in store, checked for availability in Leawood, showed it was in stock and I finished everything up. Tried the same thing the night before and it showed no availability. I'll pick it up later today. It doesn't say anywhere in my email that I have to pick it up by a certain date or anything.
No luck here. I tried for about 30 min after 10pm. One of my coworkers said he saw one 32gb black at the falls. I'll try again today. Hopefully I will have better luck.
Same deal with me, though I suspect that you won't get an email until an employee gets in to the store and actually puts your name on a waiting iPhone box.
I did this last year, and it was the same way. They have X number in stock that go out for sale at 10:00pm, then you get conformation after they get those orders off their system in the morning and put your name on it.
I was able to get a black 32gig AT&T last night for the Braintree store, picking it up at lunch....so they are available in the area. Also, the AT&T store near my work sold their last one 5 minutes before I walked in yesterday as well.
Last night I saw a black 32GB AT&T in Columbus but I don't remember the store name and I'm not familiar enough with the area to know if there is more than one.
There was a black 16GB AT&T at the Tacoma Mall, but it was gone within 10 minutes. I sat there, staring at it, wondering if I wanted to make the 4 hour round trip just for a phone.

It would have been sometime between 10PM and midnight Eastern. It's worth noting that I think I was getting slightly different results between the app and the website. Either that, or else the stock was just changing that fast. I was hoping to find a single store that had a black and a white one in stock but I never did.
So picked up my white 16GB courtesy of this process this morning. Made sure to open the box in store, and saw no cosmetic issues. However, get home, and it went through the activation and all that, but now it's still saying no service. Gonna plug into iTunes and see if it lets me try and reactivate that way.
Edit: Seems to be mostly all set, not sure if their activation servers are just hammered or what. Mostly working, but every once in a while it stops sending messages and such again for a few seconds. We'll see if it sorts itself out with time.
Also, availability in the stores is in fact still very limited. When I was waiting in line for the store open, they told people that it could be at least a week or so, before they expect to start to be able to serve walk-in customers with no reservations.
