iPhone 5 Reservation at Apple Store

I saw AT&T 32GB in black and white available on 14th street in NYC just a couple minutes ago. Last night I was able to add a 16GB white AT&T to my cart right from my local store, but I'm just checking really had no intention of buying. It was gone a minute later. Nuts.

Had I known they were selling device only since day one, I very well might have picked one up. There was no line later in the day and had every model available.
 
How can I reserve and iPhone for pickup? I only get an option to buy... its doesn't show reserve like last year? Did it change?
 
I made a reservation on 09/25 at 1am (est) which was 10pm (pst) and was successful.. a local mall had a white 16gb Verizon Went and picked it up at 11am that morning with no problems. It was the last iPhone 5 in the store they sold out of all sizes for every carrier. Like I said i did this at 10pm Pacific time but the server really didn't update until 10:04 pm so be ready.
 
unavailable for pickup all the time :mad::mad:

i've been trying last night and tonight, no luck at all :mad:

Holy crap, that must be like finding a unicorn in the woods...I've heard of them but never met anyone who's seen one.
 
Interesting. None available in any city within the entire State of Florida, all of lower New York including Manhattan, Pennsylvania entirely, western Massachusettes. Looks like none on the East Coast in most of the major cities as I look.

That or they haven't updated stock as of yet.

This gives me hope, but I really don't want to be up until 1 AM for the 4th night in a row.

Who am I kidding? I'll be up :D

I had done the pickup last night and got one at the apple store in Boston. When I picked it up, there were five other people who where there who also had done the reservation method the night before. So in that case they had at least 6 .
 
added a white 64 att in my cart, only 1 available from the list of stores, 3mins later at the last checkout screen-it says "pre order now", sigh... i can come onto this thread every night and say the same thing over n over again. they must be really low in stock n now fulfilling some of those pre orders.

And what exact time did you do this last night?
 
If you order online and have any issues (scuffing, nicks, etc), can you go into the store to get it swapped? Or do you need to purchase from the store in order to get a swap within the store?
 
I saw a Black 16 GB available, not the one I like and my credit not ready last night so I released it.

I tried again earlier - saw Black 64 GB available for Verizon and I have the money but it was at Apple Store like 200 miles away from me. Tried for AT&T, more than 200 miles away - then tried different models ... They are gone already or Unavailable in all stores.

I can't drive that far and I want the model I want.

It's looking like the pre-order am waiting at Best Buy Verizon Black 64 GB is the one for me. But then I might wake up again tomorrow thinking I should stick with AT&T. Lol

Two stores in Miami did. By the time I checked out it was already gone. :(
 
FYI: refreshed at 9:59 eastern, every NYC store had the black 16 verizon. got one! good luck everyone

Haha saw that but I released it, too far. Saw the one in West Palm Beach too (dunno if I should've gotten this, perfect model & carrier) and Mall at Millenia in Orlando last night. Lol
 
Nothing in the NY/NJ area. Looking for a white 64gb art....
Do I have to wait until 10 pacific time? I ask because the option to reserve was available at 10pm eastern.

I dont get it, I was starting at 9:55p and refreshing by the minute till at least 10:15, Miami didnt show up at all. So odd.
