iPhone 5 Reservation at Apple Store

I got my 32gb black vzw last night. At 10:05 there was no stock, but at 10:10 several stores, including fashion island in newport had at least one. Snagged one up and picked it up this morning.

Appears to be the most difficult to find (64gb). I'm looking for black but NJ area because I dont want to drive to NYC and pay extra tax. It should show at 10. I'm not sure waiting till 10pst will help.

So before 1am, they had nothing for you when you checked?... then a bit after 1am it changed to "In Stock"? to let you order.

The guy in the store told me today stock only goes down after 10pm. I take it with a grain of salt for sure, looks like more people got it at 1am Eastern time for stores in the East Coast then the alloted 10pm time.

No full price option.

They'll check your eligibility first. They would know if tour are up for early or full upgrade then it's up to you if it is a new or additional line or upgrade for existing line.

Pretend to buy it now so you can practice haha but cancel it once they require the payment. 🙂

I'm in Miami as well, checked yesterday at 10pm and only two Apple stores in Orlando showed up with stock, they sold out at about 11pm but I'm not going that far. Today none showed up from Miami to Atlanta.

I did go to the Apple store at the Falls and an employee said they always receive stock so I could reserve online, obviously it's not working. He mentioned that whatever they don't sell on reserve they sell the next day, he also said they had a line form today at 6am and the first 10 people got phones.

Yep. That's what happened to me last night. Someone said that one of the Miami stores had some but all of them were unavailable for me.

Im in Central time and i have 17minutes...... i am looking for a 16gb or 32 gb of ANY COLOR for att!, good luck me i guess 🙁


my back up is i have a 16gb on back order, won't be ready until atleast the 10th.....

I saw a model I checked showed up available in Atlanta or even some stores in GA.
 
And the fastest way to order is just place the items in your cart, pick up, and keep clicking locate?
 
Just reserved two (16GB white & black VZW) at the 14th street store in NYC... but we're porting from ATT to VZW, and now I'm hoping they'll be able to put them both on one shared plan instead of the two independent plans the :apple: shopping cart forced me to order. I haven't heard of anyone else with this issue; if you've got any feedback, please post in this thread. No, I don't think this is really a crosspost. 😀

I'm supposed to wait a MONTH? Screw Apple. I wish I liked other phones.. I wish I liked the S3, but I don't. This is bull.

Yeah but checked it with store today that they charge your card in store when you go to collect it.

To the peope whom this didnt sound legitemate or rational i offer 50$ to anyone who does this for me and meet me at any apple store to pickup the phone in dallas area. We meet at the store you pay the full price of the phone with my card and i will pay you 50 dollars for that in cash.

Please understand that i am not a scammer. Apple left me no choice and this is the only way i can think of.

If you have any other recommendations they are welcomed.

So they aren't allowing people to pay full price to reserve? I have to open a new line?
