iPhone 5 Reservation at Apple Store

I've been refreshing since 9:30. Not sure what time it finally showed stock, but my confirmation emails were received at 10:00 and 10:02.
 
I have mine currently on pre-order from Verizon (through their website) without contract. It won't let me put another in my cart unless I start another line. Would there be an easy way to reserve one through this process without canceling my pre-order first?

I have a feeling I'll need to call CS to cancel and, if I find one available in my area, I bet the it will be gone in the time it takes to do that.
 
Saw the one at The Grove in LA but that 's a little too far for me .

How could Apple not send a SINGLE 16 GB White AT&T phone to the Orange County area since this Personal Pickup went online ? And I 've been on it every night since 9:30 pm.

Soo frustrating. And honestly does not make sense.

Please do update us and let us know how it goes... It seems that doing that vs. ETF and 1 month's service is about a wash, though.

lol! how could they not send any 16gb white/black for any carrier in any city???? it's almost mind boggling. I preordered the 4 when that came to Verizon so I have never experienced this! I didn't preorder this one and I thought by now things would kind of open up some BUT NO ONE HAS THE phones in stock. they sold 5 mil! and they could sell so many more. oh well maybe next month, I'll be able to get one.
 
I had that one from The Grove in my cart about to checkout when it turned unavailable.

The person who bought it, did you have it in your cart prior to 10pm?

With it being an extra 45 min drive and potentially having to deal with AT&T's customer serivce, I decided to cancel the order. I already have one but it's just not my original color of choice. I'll wait and hope that my local store gets some in before the 25 remaining days on the return expire.
 
Now I wish I took that stock 200 miles away, lol. For the love of iPhone ... No! Too much gas and waste of time ... If Miami shows up again tomorrow - South Beach time this weekend, I guess, lol.
 
I was actually naive enough to think that the in-store pick up thing would actually yield me an iphone the next day. Been refreshing since 9:30, haha apparently no black 32gbs in America.
 
My reservation for a 64gb white sim free came through via email at 23.54 last night, so off to store today to pick up. This was my second attempt at doing the reservation thing. Surprised how late the email came.

I started checking at 9:50 PM, the first white 16 gb AT&T showed up at the grove at 9:56 PM, the second white 16 gb AT&T showed up at Canoga Park at 9:58 PM, by that time the white 16 gb AT&T at the grove was already gone. Started searching for black 16 gb AT&T at 10:02 PM and the one at Americana showed up, snatched it up, went to cancel my pre orders, came back at 10:05 and nothing was available.
 
check out the site milo.com...shows stores that have the phones in stock. looks like mostly radioshack stores. maybe that's an option.
 
I have just received my reservation for a 16GB black in the UK but are these phones that have just come into inventory and should be more recent or are these phones that are being moved around the stores from launch?
