iPhone 5 Reservation at Apple Store

Small questions here, but if you manage to reserve one at the Apple Stores, does the main account holder have to be there like as if you were getting one without a reservation? I'm just wondering because if I don't have any luck in finding any at the AT&T stores and the account holder doesn't have any time to come to the Apple Store with me, I want to be sure that I can get one through a reservation.

Apple needs to get on it! How do they expect to be releasing the iPhone 5 to more countries when they can't even fulfill the U.S.?!?!?! Alright, I might be a little upset... Haha

I believe they check your ID to make sure the name matches the account.
 
So is this online reservation crap the only way to get one now? I can't just wake up at 4:00 AM and get in line?

If so **** Apple for doing this. I was all excited since I have the day off tomorrow and now I see that I've somehow missed the boat? Ugh.
 
In So Cal, and am able to reserve a phone even though it isnt 10 here yet, but its showing no phones available anywhere in So Cal. Will it update at 10 or has it already updated?
 
I, as many people on here, are acting almost as if they are giving out free iphones. The 300$ isn't enough to get these things, you gotta stand by your computer like a loser and pounce on em right as they become available. Idk I just took a step back and found it kinda funny & pathetic. I'm pretty sure apple could jack up the price 100 on each model and still sell out easy

They will start to update at 10PST.

It's really pathetic, and frankly I don't know why I need to have one so bad. It's an addiction. And even though I know there isn't inventory, I still drive my sorry ass to the apple store every day and hope they miraculously got some in stock. I could really be spending $400 on something more important, like paying off some bills, but this I am cursed with the iPhone disease. Help meeeeee
 
Yess!!!

32GB Black VZW in Santa Monica! They also had 32GB ATT, but I figured the VZW would sell better overseas when I get my real ATT one in a few weeks :D
 
Still no 64gb black for ATT, but whites are now showing in stock. Hmm... Really wanted the black but might reconsider now
