iPhone 5 Reservation at Apple Store

After checking every night this week finally got one mission viejo! 16 gb white AT&T! Woohoo!
Just nabbed a 32GB Slate at Scottsdale Quarter. I had a 16GB loaded and started hitting locate right at 10pm--nothing.
For the last two hours, right at the top of the hour, I played around with zip codes in central and mountain. This pattern repeated in those zones as well. 32GB phones were available in Oak Brook IL, and Denver CO up to at least 10 mins after 10. In AZ, no 16GB Slates showed even initially.

Missed out on a Verizon black 64gb but was able to grab a 32gb black in AZ!

Congrats man. I can't seem to find a white 32GB Verizon anywhere in AZ. Well, it looks like there's a black 32 Verizon in Tucson. But I'm not going way out there for it.
Just got a AT&T black 64 gb at the Grove in LA - only other one that was available was in Pasedena. Use the Apple Store app and your credit card info will already be entered - from start to finish took less than 30 seconds. Got email that order was being processed within a few minutes. Worth the 90 minute drive from San Diego!
What's the holding period for the reservation? 6pm tomorrow and its released? Or do I have more than one day.
This will be my fourth attempt today at reserving a 16gb black/slate iPhone 5 in the Uk.

Woot! Was able to reserve a white 32 for the wifey at the crack of 10. Been trying this entire week. After I checked back again for stock, it showed up for a good minute before they were all unavailable again. Now just gotta wait for the confirmation.
Took my family out for dinner tonight and the place we went to is right next to an AT&T Authorized Retailer (non-corporate store). There was a sign out front, "iPhone 5 in stock, white 32GB. We were debating whether or not to just stick with the plan to reserve a 16GB or just say "screw it" and walk over to the AT&T store. Finally the wife says, just walk over there already.
Store closed 5 minutes before I got there. Came home and reserved the 16GB. Anyway the whole point of this story is leave your options open. You never know what little out-of-the-way carrier store or Radio shack might have one or a few sitting there. (I checked with a radio shack that had some Verizon models in stock, this is in Oklahoma City). Also if this reservation system is your method of choice, then it's only a matter of time before the stock levels start climbing. I imagine in the next couple of weeks we'll be reading more success stories on here. Hopefully one of the will be my story about scoring a black/slate 32GB!

AAAARGH!!!5 nights in a row and haven't got anything, here in Salt Lake City, Guess I'll try again tomorrow night!
SLC had phones at 10pm MT as did Denver. Don't give up and make sure you're on at 10pm local.
I'm always on there @ 10pm, but there's never no 64GB Black in either Salt Lake store's!!!
I see. Didn't catch the 64GB requirement. I agree, I haven't seen any of those. The majority I found were Slate 32s and a much smaller amount of Slate 16s. Nothing scientific here, just scanning releases in other time zones up until 10AZ.
If I already paid off my school dues, AND my books, where is the problem?
This is the money that's been returned to me by the school after all my financial obligations have been taken care of. And it is not a LOAN, it is a grant.
