I pre ordered my i5 on the 14th and as its STILL processing, I'm getting closer to trying to reserve a phone. If on the off chance there actually is a phone available in my area, does anyone know how long it would take from cancelation of the pre order to being able to purchase a new phone? My current order is at the discounted upgrade price and (of course) I'd like to use the discount on the reserved phone.

It was almost instantly canceled for my sprint reservation. I logged back into apple and put another one in my cart with the discounted price. I canceled early this morning and I searched at 10pm today - and reserved one for pickup tomorrow.

Albuquerque, New Mexico. Not a single one in 6 days and I'm always on at 10pm. Not to mention we only have one apple store in the state...

I'd like to do the thing where you reserve one between 10 am - 4 pm, but it seems that the site isn't giving me an option to select a store location to check and see if they have stock.

The option shows after you are in check out and under your iphone order it will show an option for pick up or it should. It's a little tricky to see at first

That's really too bad. Maybe it'd be best to just bite the bullet and order one for delivery and wait the 3-4 weeks rather than doing the reserve route. Only reason I'm considering reserving is that I am virtually surrounded by apple stores in the NY area.

I'm in Omaha but it branches down to KC, Des Moines, and even Wisconsin...not a single one available...I'm having a hard time deciding if I want to keep trying or bite the bullet and order it
