Just so you know. I was porting two numbers from Verizon to Sprint and the guy in the store could not transfer my business lines to a business line. It would only let me set up personal lines. Which is fine, I own my business and can expense it anyway or take care if it with Sprint later to convert it to a business line. Since he had so many issues, he was confused and ran my card for each phone, which is odd since I already paid when I did the web order. The credit card put a stop on the transaction as there were two idenctical ones the night before. I cleared it up with the credit card company and they let the two transactions go through. Today, I got another two emails with the same order number telling me that the phones were ready to be picked up...so I called and found out they had charged my credit card four times for two phones. It is not a credit card hold when you do the web order, it is an actual charge to the card that you used to place the order.

Also, they will hold the phone for about two weeks.

The Apple guy in Florida Mall Apple Store Orlando told me they've sold out some stocks for walk-ins last Friday & Saturday, nothing today.

Best of luck to those still in the hunt.

For people in the east coast...GO! :D It's 10:05 pm est.

Yes! I was worried I was going to have to drive all the way to the Apple store tomorrow to pick up a new iPhone 5, but luck stayed on my side and, as usual, there were none to be found within 1,000 miles of me. What a relief!

Planning to help a west coast friend with the process tonight. Did east coast locations show new availability tonight?

Edit: Saw a couple of updates for NYC and Tampa after I posted this. Has anybody scored one tonight?

I have tried this reservation process for my Verizon acct. but it is a business acct. and for whatever reason it gives me an error message about not being able to do it because my acct. is a business acct.

Is there anyway around this or has anyone else had this problem. I don't want to have to wait 2-3 weeks (if I order off of Verizon website) and all the Verizon stores in the area don't have any and they all said it would be 2-3 weeks.

Is it just me or did the reservation come to a stop in the US? Before there used to be a link like the UK site but I no longer see it. I see a “Make a reservation” on the top right but that takes me to genius bar for problems.

Unfortunately, I don't think there is a way around this.

That's always been there and it's the wrong button. You have to put a phone in your cart and then select pick up and hope for the best.

YES! Finally!

I'll be driving a 2 hours to get it. But that's better than waiting until October 31st.

Sprint Black 16gb

I saw 1 location in the New York Metro Area that had AT&T 64 gb in white, and nothing AT&T 32 gb in white. Usually since I started looking last week, there are usually at least 4 locations (mainly in NYC) that have the models I'm looking for, but not willing to go into the city to get. I'd say they didn't get any deliveries and aren't selling any new phones, but maybe ones that never got picked up, or returns. Hopefully this week is better! Good luck to everyone (unless you are looking for the same phones as me in NJ! Haha)
