Is there an option you have to select in the checkout process? I had the quick checkout option selected and saw no other place to select pickup. I definitely had pick-up selected in the cart as it still shows my local store selected, but none in stock when I try one of my other lines.
you will get an e-mail between 7:30am and 8:30am or so saying it is ready for pickup. The ICS (inventory person) has to allocate the reserved phones and acknowledge that they are ready for pickup. Once that person does that you will get your confirmation.
Does your email say "We'll send you an email when your order is ready for pick up"? If so, you'll get another email in the morning saying your order is ready for pickup and you can pick it up that day...

is it 10pm local in the timezone you live in or 10pm eastern? because it's 9:38 central where i am and i can already check stores with zipcode. Of course i'm not seeing any phones available at all. But was just wondering if i need to wait till 10 my local time?

I would have to agree with that. Had verizon for 3 years and never had a problem. Back when I had AT&T, i was lucky if i got a bar in my home.
Nolegirl have you talked to any of the apple reps at international to see if this pickup system is even working? Just curious. I talked to someone on Wednesday and she said lots of people have been utilizing the system.... Don't know if I believe it.

I did visit a local Walmart right now and they have a 16GB white iPhone 5 that I can pick up as early as 6am tomorrow ("Connection Center was closed"). Probably my best option, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

I tried all of them different time one after another. See no real difference between att an verizon in call drops. But I see huge difference in what I said above.
Just wanted to let people know that it took me a couple of tries clicking on the pickup from store button to get an 'In stock'.
Found at 10:05 EST - AT&T 16Gb Black Slate. Upper West Side NYC.
First time in 4 nights that there was black AT&T inventory in NYC that I saw with my own eyes.
