iPhone 5 Reservation at Apple Store

I had the same problem in NYC, but they let me call to cancel the order and just set up a new account and purchase in the store
in the USA at 10pm eastern you try to buy a phone with the pick up in store option
i'm giving up till Sunday night at least. Besides it's the weekend. Better things to do. Like College Football and NFL.

I don't think they do sunday night reservation b.c they do not get a shipment in on sundays.
New Haven, CT has AT&T Black 64GB in the store....I can't spend that much, so I'm still waiting for 32GB...
Grr. After the first 4 black ones all had scuffing I tried for a white one and it has this annoying light leakage at the bezel.
yeah it wont be back on till 10pm tonight like its suppose to be if you mean for in store pickup. Ordering itself is working.

- just the black 64GB. They received a couple FedEx crates today at 10. Asked if they would have any for sale later, they said they're saving (if any) for tomorrow's reservations. Good luck! Why wouldn't I be serious?
And what I mean by the first four black ones is my original pre order and the three replacements that were opened up in store that had worse scuffing than my original.

Read an earlier post that Walmart had phones. Took a chance and called and two of my local Walmarts in NC each had a couple of 16gb for Verizon. Just got back from picking on up. They will not hold them if you call. You must be the main person on your account and have photo id and additional id. Also, they said I had to switch to the Share Everything plan as that is the only plan their system has to choose from. So, there are restrictions, but they do have some phones if you can deal with the account issues.

This is good to know...not that I fancy shopping at the Evil Empire....but this is good to know regarding the plans and how it may affect all of us on non family shares. Although I am perplexed as to how they can strong hold you in switching plans. Thanks for the info! Enjoy your phone!

Just got back from Plano, TX store. There was a line of about 30 people outside. Apparently they received a large shipment. I had reserved so I bypassed the line and picked up my phone (out within 20 minutes). The line hadn't moved in that 20 minutes. I'm assuming they told the people in line they have phones available but they certainly weren't giving them any while I was there. I heard the number of phones was 90 from one of the geniuses and 200 from a guy in line who said his buddy worked at the store.
I purchased mine at the Walmart in Mooresville around 10:30 this morning. I had called the Walmart in Denver, NC and spoke to Mary around 9:15 and at that time she said they had one black and one white 16gb in Denver. The Mooresville store had one white 16 gb left when I left.
Try calling the Walmarts by you. My daughter is at UNC and I know there are a couple around there.

Make sure you bring the confirmation email with you to the store when you go to pick your phone. I watched 2 people in front of me at the upper west side store get turned away yesterday morning for not having a conf #. One guy just about had a nervous breakdown and looked to be crying as he ran out of the store. Don't let that be you.
Also, the girl said they've been having the most inventory available on Thursdays, so take that for what it's worth.

I gave up tying to get one reserved for pickup in the Chicago area this week. I wanted a 32gb or 64gb verizon black model. I ordered from the apple store this morning and will just have to be patient until the week of 11/6 when it says I can expect delivery.
The credit card I used was enough if am not mistaken for the Apple guy to find my ready to pick up order - then he asked for a photo ID (though I have the confirmation email in my iP4, just in case).
