Frustrated
My iPhone sat in China for three days before finally shipping out today. My original delivery date was 9/27, now, there is no delivery date. Chat was of no help, other than some verbiage was added to my tracking report. This is very frustrating. I ordered at 4:00 AM Eastern on the 14th, got the 9/21 confirmation, followed by the 10/5 one. Once I got the delivery date from UPS, I arranged the sale of my old phone on Friday. Now, that isn't going to happen. Many folks who ordered after me have already received their phones or will receive them before me. I'm not impressed by how Apple and UPS have handled this mess. This does confirm my decision several years ago to do all of my own shipping through FedEx.

Hey, I just have a quick question about the phone. Do you feel it's safe to go without a screen protector? I am very careful with my stuff and I don't ever put my phones in my pocket with anything else. Do the iPhone screens usually do well without any protection?
We appear to be in the same exact position. My arrival date went from Thursday to unknown. I live in Louisville, so I suppose Thursday may be possible.

Delivery Dates
Did anyone place an order for delivery AFTER 21 Sept? And if so, what is your delivery timeline looking like? I'm thinking of ordering one and having it shipped - current delivery estimates are 3-4 weeks and I'm wondering if that's an over estimate? The Personnel Shopper option has not been successful for me, 2 nights of trying.

"Delivers Oct 10 - Oct 16 via Standard Shipping"

While I did order mine on the 21st, it was after the Preorder in the afternoon. I ordered a 64gb Model on Sprint and it is out for delivery today. I was told it was going to be 3 Weeks, but ended up being around 3 days.
If wanting to get one ASAP, I do think ordering a 32 or 64 Model will give you the best chance of getting it early. Someone on this forum ordered 2 32gb Models who ordered on Sunday and has likewise gotten a tracking number.

I would like to know how long it will take as well, seeing I ordered mine on the 23rd. I ordered through AT&T so they told me 21 days. I think since most are also ordering the 16GB, it will take that allotted time for it to arrive.
I ordered one white 16GB. I think it's being shipped through Fed-Ex as well...

Hi. We're in the same boat. The shipment, apparently, is very slooooowly clearing US Customs. Some packages cleared as early as noon today.

I'm not sure if it can make it to Houston by tomorrow 😕🙁 ... and not sure if the mail guy leaves it in the leasing office 😕
Depending on how long it takes to break down the pallet once Customs clears it and then run the individual packages through the sorting process, it may be too late to get it on the plane for delivery tomorrow.
Mine still hasn't cleared and If UPS is going to make the scheduled delivery date of Thursday by the end of the day, it has to be through the sorting process and on a plane before too much longer.
With the way this has been going. I expect to wake up tomorrow with the delivery date unchanged and they will simply miss it.

i placed my order on the day preorders were at 5 in the morning. it originally had a delivery day of thursday(tomorrow) but it's gone and it doesnt look like that'll happen since i live on the east coast.

The regular shipment route goes from ZhengZhou to either Hong Kong or Incheon, Korea. From those points, they fly to Anchorage, refuel, and then continue to Louisville, KY. There, they sit until US customs clears them. Customs clearance takes at least 12 hours. The phones then receive an import scan and then a departure scan as they leave Louisville for local distribution centers.

Mine is in AK and I'm sure will be in KY tomorrow... I expect it to arrive Monday, although I'll not see it until Wednesday since I'll be in other parts of the country until then...
