Ordered 9/17 from Apple. Finally got mine yesterday 10-15. Nearly one month while friends who ordered from AT&T got their phones within 2 weeks. Never again will I preorder from Apple.
 
Ordered my black 16gb in verizon store on 9/28, according to my tracking number my iphone 5 will arrive on my door step tomorrow :)

WTFFFFF? I ordered mine 9/24 in a Verizon owned store black 16gb and I payed full retail got a ship my 10/19 date. Did you pay for extra shipping mine says FedEx 2-day shipping.

Not the end of the world but thought it was a first come first serve kind of basis.

I was about to cancel yesterday because i found stock of the AT&T 16 gb black at Sam's (no one else had it) but AT&T was giving me a hard time and I had already waited so long that I didnt want to push the matter.

So for those of you who just ordered or haven't yet, check Sam's Club out if you need your phone ASAP

Arrived on 10/15

Now I have to wait for Verizon to ship theirs. Stupidly made a deal with my fiancee that neither of us would activate our phones until we both have them.

He ordered a 16gb black through verizon website. Ordered on 10/3, expected ship date of 10/26. Still waiting for his.

Same here... But a few 21st white 16gb came off BO today so it will happen soon. At least your black one shipped, mine was off BO overnight and it's still on pending shipment.

Ordered the 16 GB White iPhone 5 on September 21 through AT&T online and today is October 16th. Still NOTHING! :mad:

We're on the exact same boat. 21st white 16gb. I'm so mad as well, seeing more and more white 16gb of the same day came off BO and got their shipping info today :mad:

I'm in exactly the same boat. Ordered 16gb black and 16gb white on 9/21. Black one shipped yesterday, still nothing on the white (it's on back order at the time of this post).
 
Processing and Address Issues

HELP!

Just need some information from anyone who has had the same issue as I am having now.

When I ordered my iP5 on 9/21 I wasn't allowed to enter a shipping address (it just randomly added my OLD apt's address. I did use that address once to get my 2 yr old MBP), and since my order has been stuck at processing...I haven't been able to change it.

Anyways, I called Apple.com's CS and asked about it, and they kept insisting there is no way I can change the address, because apparently I used "Bill Me Later" and that is the address that BML supposedly supplied (except it can't be, because I opened the account AFTER I moved and BML has NO record of that add).

What I don't understand is...I preordered an iP5 for my husband (he got his already) and it did the same exact thing but I was allowed to change the address once it went to "Preparing for Shipment"...but CS is saying that is because I ordered using a different credit card...

I am just hoping that once it goes to "Preparing for Shipment" I can make a change, even though CS kept saying there is no way in hell, and just suggested I cancel my order, and make a new order???!!!

It just doesn't make sense...

You should probably cancel since you used bill me later is probably the issue. Can you talk to bill me later?

At this point checking carrier stores in the morning might land you one.

Yeah, except...BML doesn't have a record of that address...ever I checked! Plus it's also under my husband's name...the shipping address...
 
Ordered a black 16GB on Oct/4 from Apple.ca, it's processing. Expected delivery Nov/6-12.

maybe a little wishful thinking but yrs bck when i bought the 3GS, same scenario and ended up getting both at the same time. Although, iphone 3GS didnt come in 2 different colors but as far as both phones being processed separately

It's most likely your carrier address on file, just wait til it gets out of processing then change the address.

Finally! Status just changed to: "Preparing for Shipment".
 
I'm a new customer and ordered a 32gb Black iPhone 5 online from AT&T Premier on 9/27/12.

Upon placing my order I received an email confirmation stating "Your iPhone will ship in approximately 14 - 21 business days. All orders are processed on a first-come, first-served basis."

The status is currently "Processing."

What really boggles my mind is when I check my order status from www.wireless.att.com/order_status/order_status I get this:

OS001: We apologize for the inconvenience. We cannot complete your request at this time. Please wait at least 24 hrs from placing your order, before checking the status of your order online. If the problem persists, please call us at 1-800-331-0500 for further assistance. NOTE: An email may have been sent to your email address on file. Please check your email which may have additional information about your order.

I've tried calling that 800 number but had no luck. It's nearly impossible to get a hold of an actual human being from AT&T regarding order status.

Tomorrow will mark the 14th business day. Here's hoping the status changes soon, it's been a long wait!

p.s. Anyone else have a similar experience as me?
