iPhone 5 Shipped Thread

I didn't get anywhere with Apple. She basically said that they might be waiting for a bulk load of orders to show up at Mount Hope before being sent further. Didn't really make sense to me, but I kind of wanted to get off the phone to watch the Apple event on my iPhone.

I just reloaded my tracking information and now it's showing that it's back on time, and has a departure scan from Mount Hope at 2:35 (5 minutes ago). Curious to see if your status is any different now.

Usually http://www.packagemapping.com/ is able to show you where it's heading once it has a departure scan. This time around, it's not showing anything extra.

I took a break for the apple event too. Mine is also showing a departure scan! Every step is one step closer so I'll take it as good news :) I guess the next few hours will tell us if we can expect the phones tomorrow or the 29th.

I'll keep you apprised of any movement on my end! I suspect by the time I get home it should show an arrival scan in Concord. Can't see it taking more than 2 hours to get between those two places.

Let me know of any activity on your end!

So I ordered the day before you, same model, but from at&t and I'm still backordered. So depressing :( lol
 
My black, 32GB, VZW changed to preparing for shipment today. Ordered on Oct. 5th. Original ship estimate was Nov. 6th - Nov. 13th.

Where abouts is your iPhone headed?

I know, me too. I did a quick search about the exception and found this thread. I would have likely just assumed it was my package being held up. Nice to know we're all at least in the same boat and nothing wrong with any single order.
 
Check my status still processing but at least they're moving closer to my order date, oct 6. Maybe mines will ship out by the weekend since the 32 are moving faster.

Status:
SHIPPED, Estimated Delivery October 26

So that'll be slightly under 3 weeks from ordering to delivery. Hopefully this means an improvement in shipping times for everyone else as well. It's already in Hong Kong so should hopefully get to Sydney tomorrow and Melbourne on Friday! Yay!
 
Update on my order, the expected delivery date has changed from the 29th to tomorrow! I can now track the phone and it was last in Eindhoven.

still no change on my order, fast coming up to 5 weeks
i placed my order on the 28th, and its a pain to see orders placed after mine. shipping before mine
 
Qty back ordered changed from 1 to 0 this morning, no other changes since then. Ordered black 16 gig AT&T phone on 9/28 at the store
 
Now it's arrived in Concord. If this thing isn't on a truck tomorrow morning I'm going to lose it, lol.

Well on Friday it'll be officially 4 weeks to the day. I was wrong, my CC hasn't been charged, I guess 3-4 weeks now actually means 4-5. At least I hope that's the case, I'm going to go crazy if it doesn't arrive next week. I see Telecom are selling them on open plans now — could have just bought there and cancelled the plan, only a $25 hit.

Ripping my undies that Australian orders placed more than a week after mine are already in their owners hot hands.

Sorry guys, I'm refreshing this like a crazy person, and wanted to throw this in there.. I just noticed my delivery date is gone, and there is a new line about "Emergency conditions beyond UPS' control.".
