Is this the new a Connect Four mini?!

These claims of Apple's new case for iPhone 5C looking like Connect Four are way out of line.

Connect Four's holes are 6 x 7, whereas the iPhone case's are 5 x 7. Completely different.

Plus, you can easily tell the difference because you won't see the letters "hon" nonsensically floating in any of the holes of a Connect Four game.

I actually like the two-tone look, but the partial text looks so bad! Amateurish and sloppy.

Not making just one hole larger to at least expose "iPhone" is a surprisingly un-Apple-like oversight.

If I had a 5C, it would be naked.

Yeah I figure to use it without a case once we get to January. I need the yellow case until then to remember what the sun looks like. In the mountains the sun hardly pops over the ridge behind my place until 8:30am and sets by 4pm as the winter solstice approaches. The black case will be jazzier for a change-up now and then, and I will like to get a white one in the summer. I don't find them ugly. Whimsical, and fun. Like those tangerine and lime clamshell iBooks. "Let them wonder [,hon]..."

Protect soft plastic with something that is easily replaceable? This is not the first time iPhones had plastic backs and plastic cases...

So these people ordered these cases last Friday ; it only took 2 business days to deliver . That means if we pre order at midnight on Friday there's a possibility we might get those iphone 5s's on Monday perhaps !?

My guess is these cases were shipped from domestic warehouses whereas the 5S will be probably be coming from overseas. So 2 business day delivery is a little optimistic.

For the fun of it. They are fun to look at with the cases on. It's actually ok to do something for the fun of it now and then.

Don't worry, you don't have to get the 5C or the cases either!

i did on my 3G and 3GS. simple -- prevent cracking if dropped. which i did.

My shipping mail said the cases would come on Thursday but this morning the tracking said on the truck. Arrived mid-afternoon!

Update: as requested -- the cases are black, and yellow. The phone is green.

And more: the case has a microfiber lining. The construction is meticulous, i.e, no little bits of the lining or backing showing around the edges of the holes in the thing. Don't think it's a $2 part, actually. but yes the margin will be substantial.

Green with the black case, okay, that's a pretty good combo.

Not only do they look very cheezy (get it?) but they will allow grit to enter and scratch the soft plastic casing of the phone.
