Oh Apple, you marketer you!

5C preorders, "Sold out in minutes!"

Panic and urgency planted in people's heads that they MUST line up or less they won't be able to get any of the new iPhones! Plus 5S is line-up only, great media buzz. Couldn't have hatched a better plan myself.

While the Apple Store app loaded faster for me, I came to one problem and that was I wasn't given the option to use bill me later so I had to go to the actual online store. Good thing they didn't sell out in 2 minutes.

Apple should let other smaller countries know when the phones will be available there too. Its very annoying not knowing.

Just got the 5C 32Gb!

Excited to go from my 5 to 5C since it has a better battery, front time FT camera, and new durable design!

After trading in my phone to Gazelle for $335 and buying this, plus a dock, plus Apple Care...I'm breaking even!

PS - Got it on the App!

When's your delivery date?

I don't believe that iPhone 5c will sell out,
Also too much money for plastic phone. LOL

I am holding out for a iPhone 5s 64GB Verizon Space Gray

The battery increase is almost negligible. The improvement for the front FT camera seems, unfortunately, redundant because FT calls aren't in HD anymore. You might wanna look at this thread.

Apple faced a patent troll and they've because of that been forced to downgrade the quality.

Is anyone who owns a 5 seriously considering spending a considerable amount of money on a 5C rather than wait for the 5S?

Sure there's a better camera and a slightly larger battery but performance wise it's the same phone albeit in a plastic body. Are the features ot the 5S not more worthy of your upgrade?

This is beyond me, how a well respected company like Apple can go do something like this...

Steve did not build this enterprise to make decisions like this, and release products like this....

I bet he would not have allowed this. :(

It would be funny if Apple has another iPhone update in the spring.:D

Ha ha. Yes. And put a bigger screen on it.

And a quality finish.

And more memory.

And not rehash the old one ina cheap plastic 'magical' case and sell it for the same as the old one.

Come on. That won't happen.

So buy, buy, buy!!!

As an aside... I have a Seat Ibiza car and they've brought a new tartan colour for 2014. It's very striking. I only bought my last Ibiza six months ago but that change alone is enough for me to sell off my "old" one ... Make a massive financial loss and fork out more cash to be 'up to speed' with the latest design.

Some people say I have ... Well alright. Everyone ... Says I have more money than sense. Really? Well ... Those same people told me years and years ago I would never be a comedian.

They're not laughing now! Are they?

I own the 5 and need a phone that is fully compatible with tmobile as I have the verizon 5. The yellow 5c is calling my name.

Tomorrow's headlines:

"iPhone 5C Pre-Orders sell out in 39 seconds."

Who knew plastic was so attractive?

Oddly enough I would not be surprised. Repackage a year old phone in a lower quality (not that bad though) form and it could end up selling better then just dropping the iPhone 5 down to what it normally would be when a new phone is released. It does not make all that much sense. I could see it being a one time thing for larger sales as by next year it will jut be part of the regular line up. Hopefully they will fix the colors and design by then.

Ordered three Cs for the family through At&t site; blue 16gb for myself, pink 32gb for the wife and white 16gb for mom-in-law.
