I switched from the 5, and no - I'm not missing sharp edges and a cold metal! It was well worth the change. Best iphone I've owned in years. Feels like my iphone 5 and the 3G got jiggy and had a baby.

hahaha awesome. I played around with the 5s and noticed no difference in performance. Apps opened and loaded at the same time, browsing the internet was the same speed and swiping left from right was also the same speed. I guess, finger print scanning and camera is the big deal for the 5s.... Has anyone noticed stronger LTE signal with the 5c?

Hey!

I upgraded from my 5. I have absolutely no regrets what so ever! Best phone I've ever had and certainly the best iPhone design yet.

Regarding signal, I'm in UK so this may be irrelevant - but when I'm at work my 5 used to drop in and out of 3g signal all the time. Most of the time it wouldn't hit 3g until I moved away from my desk into the canteen where 3g popped back up. With the 5c, I have 3g signal at my desk and have done since I've had the phone. Couldn't tell you why, have no idea. All I know is I like it!

But yeah, not missing my 5 one bit. And I'm normally a latest and greatest myself - but I kinda feel like I have got the latest and greatest with the 5c as silly as that sounds. As it's the best fit for me and that's all that matters! :)

Went to get my 5c today having been convinced by this thread, still ended up with the 5s :p

Awesome!!!! I'm thinking about selling my 5 on eBay because they are going for $400-450 right now. I just need to be sold on getting the 5c. Thanks for the comments so far :)

Lol :p

I went back to the apple store today to get a project red 5S case and finally played around with the 5C. Man does the 5C feel sweet. That is an awesome phone.

This thread definitely put down any doubts I had. Going from the 5 to 5c. Just can't choose between blue or green. Saw both in person and absolutly love them.

This!! ^^^

Sums it up perfectly! As much as I loved my i5, the cold metal and hard edges just didn't feel good! The 5c feels so good to hold, can't really tell any difference in terms of actual use- don't regret getting it one bit.

Loved my 3GS back in the day and this feels like an updated one, in green- what's not to like?!

Just picked up a white 5c for the wife. Solid feeling and comfortable to hold. She had a 3GS so it's a monumental upgrade!!!

Its not too heavy?

Loving this thread. I went into an Apple Store over here (Aus) and was amazed at their build quality. Both my mum and I agree it's far more appealing than the S.

I'm just in a colour dilemma between the yellow or green

Dropped mine about 2 feet to the carpet yest, but it hit a small square block of wood on top right back corner. The clear coat has a knick in it and the inside feels rough to your fingernail. It's a white 5c

Lol, and people are like why put a case on the 5c. Of course its gonna scratch! Thats why i got a bumper. People say its like pitting a case on a case but i disagree

if u disagree then what it is, it is case on case

I guess literally it might be case on case but technically it's a case on a phone. Me personally I like the feel of mine without a case. I have the Apple case for it, but it's so much better without it... Of course I hated having a case on my 4, 4s and my 5 for the short time I hadit ...

I nipped in to the the Birmingham Apple Store yesterday afternoon to have a gander at the 5C. Very striking phone. I am still undecided whether to pick one up and return the 5S I have on route from China. I really want TouchID but that is literally all that is keeping me on the fence.

The 5C really is a really great phone and I am looking forward to seeing how Apple progress this range in the next couple of years.

Absolutely zero scratches on mine and it's gone naked as the day God (or Apple, even) made it! :D

It's quite telling too that it still looks brand new after just over a week yet I had my 5 replaced the week before the 5S/C came out (due to lock key not working) and the metal had 2 nicks in it after just ONE DAY. And it was in a case!!

Another reason I love the 5c! I could list more reasons, but this is meant to be a quick post! :p

Hoping to put some more pics of the blue up today with different wallpapers and such, just in case there was still a few lurkers we hadn't managed to convince to buy one yet! Ha. ;)

Excellent just wondering! Nothing can stop me getting one now I don't think!

Me too ! Just weighing if I really want the touch ID and the better camera. Reading earlier posts, a China National Holiday may delay shipments and ship dates for people who already ordered 5s's. is it worth the wait or is the 5c my phone ? Decisions.

I would go with a 5c to be honest, its just so nice the feel is amazing, my sister has one I'm just waiting to get mine, good luck choosing :)

The question is ... The 5s that much better that it's worth waiting that long for it... I don't think it is honestly

I always have been the type to get the latest and greatest as far as Apple is concerned, so I just don't want to regret getting the "Lower tier" iphone. Each passing day though, I like the 5c more and more thanks to this thread.
