There is nothing bad about the 5c.
 
No scratches and no case whatsoever. This phone feels awesome and the same as I took it out of the box 5 days ago!!! Runs super smooth!!!

Love it!!! I just can't get over how wonderful of a product this is!!!! This is definitely an eye catcher! I'll be studying and the phone is sitting behind my laptop and it'll catch my eye and I pick it up and start playing with it lol!

Bravo Apple!!!

Haven't seen the yellow in person but the green one looks fantastic! I'll try to hold off until I can see the yellow. Those pics Apple shows off don't do these things a bit of justice.
 
Phone with BoxWave Crystal Shell

I ordered a clear shell off of Amazon, actually got it before I got my phone. This case is THIN. It barely feels like there is anything on the phone. It's not going to add any drop protection, but it will keep the back from getting scratched. The front sits level with the glass so I won't be putting the phone face down and the top and the bottom are not covered. It minimal protection, but if just want scratch protection and not add any bulk it's a pretty inexpensive option.

This green is sweet ! It looks a little darker in this picture than others that I've seen, it must be the lighting. Nice, nonetheless. !

The more I see the lime green one, the more I want a 5C.

That being said, I wish Apple would make colored 5S. HTC has shown you can do it with the One.

I'd love a red 5S or Blue one.

Drop tests on youtube have shown the 5S to hold up better that the 5C. I have a 5S too and I don't use a case. I'm not worried at all.
 
the 5c is the most exciting iphone, i am hooked, im sorry but as soon as you spend about an 1 hour or so with the 5c just try to fall in love with the 5s... you will truly know what feels better to hold! im not too fussed with the hardware bumps and enhancement the 5s has to offer...

Very, very nice !! The white with the dock looks awesome !! Apple should have made matching docks with all the colors. Congrats on the 5c !!;)
 
Last week I went to a nearby Apple Store thinking about just checking out the new IP 5S and 5C, and, unexpectedly, I came out with a new 5C in white. I had a while/silver IP 5 that I got on launch day last year so feature wise it is essentially the same phone. Aesthetic wise it's a different story. My first impression was that the phone looks thiner in real life than the promo pic from Apple. Some of my friends even thought it was thiner than the 5/5S. I think IP 5 and 5S do have a more "premium" look, but the design of 5C is more Apple-like, reminds me of my old IP 3G, iBook and iPod but with a 2013 design update. And like everyone on this post had mentioned, the feel of the phone is phenomenal and does not feel cheap even one bit.

Kudos to everyone, I have been reading this post since last week and it is refreshing to see all the positive contribution and feedback.

A couple follow-ups to previous posts:

1. Apple dock - I got the dock which I missed greatly when I had my IP 5. It is very very similar to the old dock Apple released before for IP 3 and 4. Some posts mentioned that the dock scratches the phone, but I have not experienced it. So far it works great.

2. SIM card tray - Mine is also misaligned a bit. I noticed when I was at the Apple store that all the display 5Cs (in all colors) had dirty SIM card tray around the edges. And mine is getting a bit dirty as well after a few days of use. However, you can just remove the tray and wipe it clean.
 
Great input ! This thread has become very good with some exceptional contributions. I'm going to go to the Apple Store as soon as I can to look at all the colors. I'm still partial to yellow.
 
Just sold my iPhone 5 on eBay today and got me a white 5c! Couldn't be happier. Now if only my wife would buy an iPhone lol

I must say, I have never been as satisfied with any iPhone like I am with iPhone 5c. Even the 5 wasn't this good. Mostly due to the build of it.

You should've seen my iPhone 5.

I still have a couple of days to trade it in for a 5s, but I don't think so!
