I must say, I have never been as satisfied with any iPhone like I am with iPhone 5c. Even the 5 wasn't this good. Mostly due to the build of it.

You should've seen my iPhone 5.

I still have a couple of days to trade it in for a 5s, but I don't think so!

Second that. I purchased the 5s and am now sporting a 5c Blue. Really like the looks and feel of this iPhone. Thank you all for contributing to this forum.

Awesome seeing people customize their wallpapers according to the color of the phone.

This is what I ended up with using to match the blue of my phone:

Hello folks I am waiting my 32gb Blue iphone 5c to arrive tomorrow.

For those of you who already have the phone, how do you think the plastic shell fares against scratches?

You think the glossy feel of the rear case is prone to scratches or does it seem good enough?

Ofcourse I am talking about normal use, and normal conditions. I am not asking whether the phone would sustain falls without scratches, i am only talking about getting scratches from just putting the phone in a bag, possibly with some car keys in it.

You think it can take up such everyday situations without being messed up?

Am sure Eventually everything gets scratched but nothing stopped me from getting the 5c. It's a beautiful thing.

I wouldn't own any of those colours, if they had a black or grey and 64GB i would. Also same camera as 5S. I liked the 4S was just a bit thick.
You are not missing much with the fingerprint sensor it's hit and miss.
Those colours would of looked better with white fronts.

i wanted get the yellow, which seems to be really popular!... but the Corporate store sucks for wait time.... so i just went with White at my local retailer... being a small business owner, just supported the local bus!

I have noticed my iphone 5 got better reception then the 5c(though the iphone 5 was verizon, only worked up to HSPA) and now LTE on 5c, maybe its just me... seems to switch alot from Edge to LTE, nothing inbetween though!

Anyone having issues on 5C????

I am but that's mostly because my network happens to be Sprint.

It is definitely scratch-prone. I've scratched my yellow 5c already - within 5 days of getting it, in fact. I've got a couple of light ones about a half-inch below the camera, then a small collection of scuffs on the opposite side, same height, along with some very, very light scuffs on the back that can only be seen when viewed at an angle in bright light. I'm blaming the bigger ones on a car mount, where the iPhone may have vibrated in the mount just enough to cause some scuffing. They're minor, but annoying to see so early on.

I'm contemplating picking up a case with the Apple case in the lead not because I'm in love with it but because it has that soft lining. My experience with the 3G and cases showed me that cases caused grit to get caught inside and cause damage in areas where it accumulated. So right now the dilemma is whether to let the 5c "age" naturally and enjoy the way it feels, or cover it up to prevent any more damage, light as it is right now.

Is anyone having call problems/drops with their 5C compared to the 5 on AT&T???

Many who changed from 5 to 5C claimed durability to be a reason. I think if it were a softer, non-glossy finish, it would have done better, and not be so slippery to hold, either.

The 5C with case is pretty thick. Better off with a 5 in a case, which is only about as thick as the 5C, and change it as you wish / as it wears.

How did you manage to scratch it? If I put it down on surface and push it seems to glide haha and I'm loving it. I was terrified every time I put my 5 down or in my pocket. But hated having a case on it. *edit* apologies, somehow missed the car bit! I really don't want to put a case on this and I'm sure the scratches will be ten times less frequent than on the 5 so just going to go with it. A week on though and still loving it. Different colours would have been great but blue will do me till next years refresh.

I think the big problem with these coloured phones is they will get grubby marks on the sides over time. They will mark and stain more naked than a 5S. A case would be essential.

My replacement 5c will be here tomorrow. I elected to pay the $29 express fee to get the replacement before I retun the defective 5c

You're right, the perceived durability was one of the things that attracted me over the aluminum of the 5/5s. That said, where the 5c gets scuffs, it will be less likely to get dings like the aluminum. I'm less concerned about small scuffs that I can't feel than little nicks and dings that I *can* feel (and can't do anything about.)

It would be intriguing to see what the 5c would look like if someone got brave and sanded the gloss off. I remember when iPod owners would do this to the stainless steel backs and it came out pretty well if it was done carefully. If only we could lightly sandblast the shell for a uniform surface...

I do wonder if these scratches can be buffed out. I'm not brave enough to try it right now, but I would guess some careful buffing would take these right out.

I am going to get my blue 5c 32gb in 1 hour!!! Cant wait!

I hope I get a good piece without any issues! Wish me luck!

Will soon post my impressions!

Good luck! I am enjoying mine. The built quality and battery life is fine.

Trying to attach some photos of my white 5C. I had it out in a restaurant yesterday and 3 strangers asked to see it. They were really impressed with the build quality and the feel and look of it. My friend actually told me to put it away because it was causing too much of a commotion. I think I converted some people who want the 5S to go for the 5C instead.

Awesome! Ahhhh I love the white 5c. Looks good!

I'm contemplating on taking back my white 5c although it's beautiful and I love the pretty white, I just feel like I made a conservative choice. I'm contemplating on getting the blue! What should I do lol?
