Just to add to the compliments. My wife got her iPhone 5c green but of course wanted a case on it. She wanted the apple case at first, but then aftering seeing the holes in person decided against it.. plus she hated that the iPhone text said "hon"

So she ended up with a Belkin Candy Sheer case and she LOVES it.. Gives it good grip, still shows the color and adds a splash of color.. There are multiple colors available for it as well

looks great ... Go Green

oo I do like that color combo

Ended up buying 2 5C's 32gb/16gb for the Wife and I, selling my old S4 to cover the cancellation fee for a new line and to cover the phone so breaking even, and will be able to upgrade my line this up coming April which i'll most likely save for a 32/64gb 6 depending on features or may jump for the Galaxy S5.

Side note: My best buy mobile was doing 20% off open box models so after the $50 gift card and 20% discount, 32gb were running roughly $109+tax.

Here's a quick snap of the blue and green side by side

i still cant get over how amazing the 5c is... im sorry but im pretty sure its because ios7 is butter smooth on the 5c and the curved corners is making it amazing to hold...

Wandered into my local phone store today with the intention of getting a 5S.

Had a play with both and couldn't resist the 5C in the end. Such a nice phone to hold and use. I had a 5 about 6 months ago but this seems so much better in a way I can't describe. Also because it's slightly cheaper the contract was really good too. £80 upfront and then £29 a month for unlimited data and texts + 1000 minutes :)

I do find the finish a little slippery though. I've never dropped a phone in my life but I have a feeling this one might be the first. I'm a no case person too so will just have to keep my fingers crossed.

I opted for yellow as it's the one I wanted to match my car (I'm not that sort of person but I had to have something help me choose). Sadly the 5C isn't as orange yellow as I thought it would be looking at the pictures. It's much more pale in tone, but still awesome though.

Must say, I'm loving my 5c as well (coming from an iPhone 4).

I would love to go caseless, but I am too afraid of scuffs/scratches and the back does seem fairly scratch prone. I've been trying to find the perfect, very slim case. I'm not looking for drop protection, only protection against scratches on the back from normal use/setting it down/using a car mount

I've tried two cases so far.

Spigen Ultra Fit (Smooth white)
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CT4DKB6/ref=oh_details_o03_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The case fits great, looks great, and has a slight lip above the screen. All ports are open and the camera cutout is perfect for the flash/flashlight. However, it is fairly bulky and adds a fair amount to the phone. It also isn't very sleek with sharp edges instead of contouring to the rounded back of the 5c. I would recommend the case if anyone wants a slightly bulkier back case

Elago Dual Case
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00F43QLGU/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

This case was a disappointment. It simply did not fit well. The phone physically moved around inside the case. The fitting was a complete square as if it were designed for the 5s but labeled for the 5c. It was also significantly bulkier than their advertised "ultra slim fit." However, I requested a refund due to the poor fit and they refunded my entire order within a day and assured me that they were working on the fit for the cases and they should iron out any kinks in the next few shipments...so potentially this could be a great case if they stick to their word.

I'm looking into the elago Slim Fit case next.

Hope this helps someone eliminate or choose a case.

Has anyone else had any experience with other slim fit, back cases for the 5c?

The first time I saw the 5C, I just about ditched my iPhone 5 for it. However, last week, my 5 started messing up, so I had a choice, $269 for a refurbished iPhone 5 (it was about 1 week out of warrantee) or about $215 ish for a brand new 5C. I went with the latter, a 32GB blue to be exact. And I love it just as much as the first time I saw it.

For 5C owners though, any tips to keep my 5C from getting scratched, until my case arrives in a couple of days?

I'm a 5s owner but I had the chance to setup a couple of 5c's and boy are they stunning! For me touch ID and the camera upgrade on the 5s were more important but there's just something to be said about the colors of the 5c in combination with the wallpapers. I think Apple hit a home run with this combo!

That's it! I'm trading in my iPhone 5 for a 5C tonight because of this thread. Now I just have to choose between green and white.

I got my blue 32gb 5c 3 days ago...

I upgraded from a 4s but had extensive use of an iphone 5 as well.

Boy, what a phone! If this is what plastic feels in your hand, then by all means, bring on more plastic phones...

The finish on every single part of this device is outstanding. The plastic case itself doesnt feel plastic at all. Yes the glossy approach makes for a lot of fingerprints, but you can remove them easily with a simple move.

This phone is simply beautiful and not just hardware wise... but most importantly, it marries the software and hardware unlike ANY OTHER IPHONE ever...

IOS 7 is simply created with iphone 5c in mind. Or the iphone 5c is created with ios 7 in mind.

Pick your color? What do you want? Blue? Green? Yellow? Ios 7 is customized for your device... it complements it in ways that iphone 5 or 5s will never be able to do.

Its one thing to hear about a wallpaper that matches the rear case of your iphone 5c, and another to simply look at it. It is ingenious and gorgeous.

Add to that the fact that with so many colorfull cases (like the apple ones) you can do so many different combinations and you have at your hands the most customizable, lively, fresh and FUN iphone ever produced.

I was hesitant because i was buying last years tech with the iphone 5c, but it is a device that offers an experience the iphone 5s will never be able to do. Difficult to explain... it needs to be experienced.

This is probably the best part. I've played around with a few wallpapers but I always end up using the stock one just because it works so well.

Have to agree with the notion that iOS 7 was designed with the 5c in mind or vice versa.

I have to say that, after looking at this thread, I might get the 5C. Wasn't planning on upgrading but with all the satisfaction you seem to be getting it seems like it's a clear winner.

Just got back from trading in my iPhone 5 for the 5C at Best Buy. Wow is this thing great to hold. I went with the white one.

I think I've had mine for about 2 weeks and this thing is amazing and feels like it's fresh outta the box except the greasy fingerprints and dust!!! :(

I'm constantly just cleaning it lol :p

Love this thing

The Spigen case came in today with a free screen protector ... here are some pics of my Green 5c ready to roll :D

Cheers :apple:

Should have used your AMEX to buy it. My IP5 lock button stopped working 10 days after warranty was up and I filed a claim with AMEX and before I even got a repair estimate emailed to them they refunded me the full $313.00 no questions asked and said my case had been closed. I got the button repaired for 45 bucks, pocketed the rest and still have my IP5.

I wanted to upgrade to the 5s with the extra cash, but now I think I might go for the 5c. The fingerprint sensor is really not that great after using my sisters 5s.

The blue is so damn sexy and the only thing holding me back now is my jailbreak!!

Yea, for my next purchase, I will be doing that, if I decide not to go with apple care.

Out of all the colors for the phone, I love the blue the most. Seems like it's the best suited other than a black or white phone. Would have went white if it came with a white front though...

The fingerprint sensor, camera, and new processor were not really my cup of tea at this point. However, I love the look and the feel of the 5C and I think it will tide me over until we see more from the 64 bit processor, and Touch ID is a little more mature next year, or the year after.
