iPhone 5c purchasers! Thoughts / pics in here!

Are you using Apple's cases? You could always go with a blue case and have a bit of white showing through.
Now that I'm contemplating a case, my yellow 5c is revealing a problem - clashing with cases. I feel like I either need a clear case or a black case, unless I want to be purposely garish. Go with white if you think you might want a case, that's my advice.
I have the black case with a yellow 5c, the look is outstanding IMO, I will post a pic when I get a chance.

My wife was finally ready to upgrade from her mint 4. I really pushed for the 5S. Went to our local Apple Store Sun. All I can say is that she went for that Green 5C like a flash. We spent a quite a while looking and using both the 5C and 5S. She simply could not justify the extra $100.
This 5C functions exactly as my 5 in every way. It's very robust feeling and for the non iPhone Power User a great product IMO. I think after the mad rush for the 5S', say early Spring you'll see the 5C stay at a steady sales number.
Those color covers are very nice IMO. Very overpriced, but your in an Apple Store, right? Gives the 5C a very different feel.
Anyway, Apple offered her $129 for her 4. I almost dropped a load.
Verdict: Green 5C, Blue Cover, Apple Care, tax, $123.43 on an at&t 2 year Family Plan Contract. Much nicer phone than I was expecting.

yes it it... i came from ip5 as well though i had a verizon so only hspa worked, now with the 5c have full LTE, which is nice...
I was gonna go with the yellow, but the corporate store sucks and the wait always too long and employees just standing around... so i went with the white at my local retailer store...

You mean $123.43 after the $129 discount, right?
You could have gotten almost twice that selling the phone outright, by the way.
I went to the local Apple store to check out the gold and the spacegrey 5s, just because I hadn't seen them before and to make sure I made the right choice of color with my online order of the silver 5s... then I was simply BLOWN AWAY by the 5c. It's the nicest phone Apple or anyone has ever made, it feels so incredibly solid and smooth at the same time. And the colors... just wow. I canceled my online order on the spot and left with a yellow 5c. Pure joy.
This was exactly my dilemma. I love the look of the yellow, especially with the black case, but the yellow doesn't go well with some of the other colours I think. The white is nice and professional, and goes well I think with both the blue case and the black case. For me, I ordered the white and will be picking up the blue case. For professional functions, I can always ditch the case and still have a classy white phone. Plus, I love the blue and white look too
Yes, after the discount. $129 was ok with me. The best price on Gazelle for a mint 4 was $120, and I don't deal with ebay.
OK, I'll probably get totally flamed by someone somewhere...but I have to say this.
The Rumors forums are chock full of post after post 5s angst of all sorts, from shipping times to touch screen issues to crashing to color choice drama to dings...the list seems to be endless. We of the 5c group seem to be having a very enjoyable time of it, in almost no threads but this one, and just loving our phones in a very pleasant place. I'm thinking it's not so bad being a bit of an underdog, being happy with your choice and just enjoying the experience. Surely there would be more negative posts if there were more serious problems???

I am loving my green 5c...does everything I need, battery life is excellent, not one crash of any kind under any circumstance, reception for me (on Verizon, only good option here) is excellent, (better than the land line I had).

Just have to add...I've been a mac user since the very beginning, but some of the compulsiveness is beginning to get even to me. What's happened to the joy of 'it just works'?
I just got (freakin' FINALLY) my gold 5S tonight but was checking out this thread to see how you all were liking the 5C and that green is.... yum. If they'd released it in a 64GB version, I'd have seriously considered grabbing it instead of dealing with the insanity that the 5S launch has been.

Based on this thread, I'd think I was the only one that had to send my 5c back. The only issue I encountered was the camera and video not working correctly. I am really enjoying the phone now that I have my replacement in hand!
That's about right, and I think your issue was pretty minor and easily solved compared to what I've seen on the rest of the forum. Everyone should be so lucky
I picked up a space gray 5S at Apple yesterday and I love it, it looks beautiful.
But there are some amazing pics of the 5C in here, the phone looks really good. Even though I have a 5S, I want to feel what a 5C is like. I love the rounded design, and the ports and speaker holes look neat. Also the uniform, one color look. Kind of futuristic looking. You guys got a great phone! Screw everyone that says that the 5C is cheap, it looks premium. I would have got white, had I gone the 5C route.
My sister got the white iPhone 5 and I asked why she didn't get the 5C and she said "I don't want a plastic iPhone!" I told her it's not the kind of plastic she's probably thinking about and then I told her she could have had a slightly bigger battery, lol. I don't see anything wrong with the 5C. I'm enjoying the pics, on page 17 now, lol.

I caved. Got myself a blue 5C last night. Came from a 5 and am really happy with this. Wish the 6 will be designed with a curved body like this
This thread is contagious. I had honestly changed my mind to get the 5s then I changed back to 5c again lol. I'm glad I did it's a great phone. I never liked the design of iPhone 5, but it was a beast as far as speed. Now I have a design I like and it's still fast
I love the 5c's design and how it feels to hold. However, I'm returning it and instead going for the 5s. With one of Apples leather cases, and many people have already said this, it makes the 5s look more like the 5c. Also, I would just keep the 5c out of a case but if it fell face down it'd smash and I don't want to have that risk tbh - if I put a case on a 5c it'd defeat the purpose of getting one for the design. And finally, the 5c is a lot heavier than the 5 (idk about the 5s though..). But yeah, the 5c is still a great phone but I just think I'll be happier with the 5s .

I personally don't think the 5s with a leather case will replicate the C in any way shape or form. DAT curved shiny polished finish!!
You could get the blue one. It could be just as formal. Really any color. It doesn't really matter.
