2 weeks since launch and I've yet to get a ship date for my Gold 5s that was ordered within a half hour of launch. I'm going to the Apple store on Saturday to check out the 5c. I have a funny feeling that I may come home with one. I really don't think I'll get the 5s until Nov.

Did anyone see Phil Dumphey with the green 5c on Modern family? It looked great. I just bought a black 5 from eBay and will get a 5c next year or so when the off contract prices go down on eBay. #love the positivity in this thread. #

I visited an Apple Store yesterday and checked out the 5c. I was surprised by how nice it felt in the hand; very solid construction and a bit heavier than the 5sthe phone I ordered.

This is what I'm hearing from a lot of people. If I were to choose one, I would pick the yellow one.
Sadly, I had to return my green iPhone 5C. I absolutely loved the form factor, how it felt in the hand, the color...everything. The only reason I returned it is because I already had an iPhone 5 since launch and I could not justify the $199 + $250 AT&T early upgrade fee + $36 upgrade fee + two-year contract just for the purpose of having a new plastic exterior on a phone I already own. If I'm going to spend that kinda money it might as well be for the 5S. -- Too bad the there's not a plastic/colorful iPhone with the guts of the 5S.
I did the same, early upgrade. I would have kept my ip5 but it was only 16 GB and packed to the gills. I'm selling my 5 to gazelle for $350, which leaves my 5c at $99, and the apple apps that came free and new lightning cable and EarPods cost more than that, so I feel my money is justified.
Overall much better than my 4S - routinely ends up with 25% at the end of a long day. The only issue is when I get weak LTE reception and I am trying to browse Safari or whatever - that sucks battery life quickly. At that point I often turn off LTE and surf with AT&T's faux "4G"
I was studying for about 3-4 hours last night and I had my music app opened for about 4.5 hours and I texted, use other apps, and snapchat quite a bit and I went home with a battery life of aobut 37%. I started using it at about 89%.

Well Apple has got me once again...I decided to get a white iPhone 5C and am enjoying it, coming from a Nexus 4. I am still looking forward to seeing what Android 4.4 and the Nexus 5 bring but I am really liking the 5C. I am not sure if I should have played it safe with white though...that blue is so sexy.
Blimey I must be the only chump to have not seen either new model in the err flesh? Really want to go into an apple store now..
It's so happy but at the same time so weird. I still don't get why 99% of this thread insists that the iPhone 5C just doesn't scratch (I'm not talking about dings) and is perfect and more durable than the iPhone 5.. if you take care not to drop your iPhone 5 I don't see how you can EVER believe that anodized aluminum scratches more easily than clear-coated polycarbonate. Jesus.
The 5c can scratch just not as easy as the iPhone 5. The 5c is not as fragile.... Jesus loves you.
Not to burst your bubble because I LOVE the Green 5c, but Phil actually has the iPhone 5 as of this time (he will be upgrading soon) and he has it in a Belkin - Grip Candy Sheer Case - Black/Green

Just to add to the compliments. My wife got her iPhone 5c green but of course wanted a case on it. She wanted the apple case at first, but then aftering seeing the holes in person decided against it.. plus she hated that the iPhone text said "hon"
So she ended up with a Belkin Candy Sheer case and she LOVES it.. Gives it good grip, still shows the color and adds a splash of color.. There are multiple colors available for it as well
