Congrats! Sounds like the first confirmed delivery on this thread.

Over here in Ontario (at least Toronto), we won't get ours until tomorrow.

Edit: hopefully last scan before "Out for delivery" tomorrow am.

Same here except still in mount hope. im in waterloo.

*sigh*

My status hasn't changed since this morning's arrival in Richmond, BC. I was really expecting to see it arrive in Calgary this afternoon for morning delivery tomorrow.

Don't worry, UPS does not disappoint! It will arrive in Calgary later this evening or maybe even early morning for delivery, I'm waiting for mines as well!

Agreed. The fact it's in Canada and only so far as Vancouver is a good thing. After watching yesterday & today's China->Korea->Alaska->Kentucky->Washington->BC voyage, this last jaunt is a piece of cake.

If only our new phones were collecting frequent flyer miles!

That's weird! What was your original schedule delivery date? I read here it was today for 'Berrytown. It doesn't sound like going thru Concord distribution centre unlike Toronto packages.

I am sure you will get it tonight (UPS delivers until 7pm?) or tomorrow the latest. Good luck!

Is the delivery time on UPS the time it'll get to your home? I wonder how much difference it would be compared to the time it actually gets to my hands...

My 5S 64gb space gray is in Concord, ON and will be delivered tomorrow which is what the UPS site has indicated since I got my shipment notice on Friday from Apple. They usually get here around lunch time. I am in Whitby.

Nice.

I just want to have it arrive tomorrow...if it comes Thursday, I'm not in the office as I'm on a field trip with my kid which means I won't have it until FRIDAY!

They'll be here.

Same thing was happening out east with a bunch of iPhones slated for delivery in and around Toronto area tomorrow. They were held in Port Hope, ON all day (15 hours without a change). They just departed. The fact all us Calgary folk have the same tracking info is a good thing. We should see updates at the same time too.

Interesting, same here. I bet the next stop is Cambridge, then out for delivery in Waterloo in my case. The Hamilton airport must have been swamped for it to sit there a whole day. Hadn't considered that, but I have been there and the facility seems large and well staffed.

Anyone know what happens if no one is there to sign for it? Is there a location to go after work where I can pick it up and sign for it?

We're experiencing a similar thing out west for Calgary (our phones are in Richmond, BC). I think UPS knows what they're doing. It's just driving us all crazy, right? ;)

All in all, our phones will be delivered tomorrow. I'm sure UPS knows that they're holding on to many iPhones and had to think of a different route for clearing customs faster and so on. Imagine if they went through the usual routes with other normal weekly packages coming left and right. We'll just have to chill out and maybe even have a few beers and call it night. We have a rough morning/afternoon ahead of us boys, imagine waking up to that "out for delivery" update we'll jump right out of bed and get our days started haha

I hear you. I've noticed that UPS has been slow to update a lot all through their system today. I read somewhere that someone didn't even know his phone was out for delivery until the doorbell rang.

On that note. I work from home. I will have my laptop set up with a clear view of the street in front of my house. Not sure how productive I'll be before, during and after delivery. ;)

Must be because of the higher volume from all the iPhones being shipped/moved around. Usually the UPS guy for my area, delivers to my house around 10am thats my experience from Amazon Prime since usually its the same Delivered by__________ before 12:00pm. I have classes tomorrow at noon, hopefully ill get my puppy before i leave the house.

When I ordered my iPad mini, no one was home to sign for it. The UPS tracking page said a second delivery attempt would be made (presumably on another day), however the InfoNotice they left indicated that it was instead going to be taken to a UPS Store, so it'd be available for pickup later in the day. In my case, I live near UW, and it was delivered to a UPS Store near Weber/Lincoln.

I've scored some accessories via Apple.ca recently. One order came from Ontario and another via China. Both via UPS and both scheduled for "end of day". They arrived between 1-2 PM.

That being said, I'm hoping the noon delivery estimate counts for something. I'll take 10 AM gladly. :D

You've gotta know that Apple and UPS work something out for these releases that runs a bit differently from regular deliveries. As long as they don't deliver between 2:40-2:45 when I pick my son up from school, I'm golden.

Movement! :)
