UPS has 6 flights from Anchorage to Louisville in the air that have departed within about hour of each other. What makes you sure it's that flight? Not that it really matters as they're so close, just curious.

Based on the tracking info, I think we're on 105 which left at 3:22 PT. Our departure track said 3:47 PT. Someone mentioned the track usually trails the actual flight departure.

Nothing scientific. Just guessing.

They really should include these tools in the actual tracking info. :D

NICE!!!! Mine left Anchorage at 1547 as well. Im in Toronto with a delivery date of Oct 2nd.

What's odd is that Vancouver people are supposed to get their stuff tomorrow, but Toronto is a lot closer to Louisville. Go figger. There's more to this than just simple distance of course.

You are correct. Didn't realize they had so many flights in the air at the same time, but make sense with the volume of trade from Asia.

Well, my 5s is on one of these flights anyhow.

I'm 99% sure everything is on UPS99. This would be the same plane that left ZhengZhou. UPS99 is carrying through to Louisville so it doesn't make sense that they would shuffle planes and carry on in the same direction. No plane transfers will happen in Alaska (probably a crappy place to do it), just refuelling and a pilot change.

If I'm correct we're about an hour outside of Louisville.

I agree. UPS 99 originated in Incheon, South Korea. The other flights did not. Now if only I could figure out the flight numbers for Louisville to Calgary. ;)

Well, it's left Anchorage:

Anchorage, AK, United States 09/30/2013 15:47 Departure Scan

So on their way to Louisville. UPS must have a quick turnraround to YVR if they're going to get it to you tomorrow, but they know their business better than we do.

If it counts for anything, the last two accessory purchases I've made from Apple.ca and shipped via UPS have all arrived a day early so MAYBE Calgary will happen tomorrow as well, but I highly doubt it. Noon on Wednesday works for me.

I would have thought so too. UPS has a pretty decent facility here in town and they do get direct shipments from Louisville. It must be in their scheduling. If it's going to make YVR tomorrow, the package will probably hop a plane to BC as soon as it arrives in KY.

Good luck!

That's the way it works out of China. If FEDEX, it would have gone through Memphis. Major hubs. Packages clear customs in Anchorage for passage into the US. One more UPS broker to will touch it before it comes into Canada. I now have the same ETA as you do so I caught up finally. :)

I just want my phone so I don't have to keep using this awful Galaxy S2!

My phones have split up!

Two to BC are sitting at Louisville for their net flight.

Two to Anchorage have had their import scan.

I assume the Anchorage ones will fly back to Alaska, but no idea what flight (or flights) the BC ones will take.

That's weird.

Don't think mine is on that flight.

No, but it could be on this flight.

I'm showing a departure on my status and this is the only departure to Canada leaving around this time. Not direct to Calgary as I would have hoped. I think next connection is Toronto to Calgary, hence why I probably won't see my package until tomorrow. They tend to show "Port Hope" as a connection in updates. I think that's where Customs gets cleared.

Any Vancouver updates out there?

EDIT: This looks like the Calgary flight. They fly via Sioux Falls, SD with a short layover then into Calgary arriving around 8 AM local time. Very slim chance I could see my 5s today? Otherwise it will sit in the warehouse for a day before they ship tomorrow. :(

Wow. Lots of progress overnight. My phone is sitting in Mount Hope, ON.

Same, which I believe is Hamilton airport. Which is 45 min from my place. Wow, didn't think it would get here from China in less than 24. I mean, it was in China for several days doing nothing then a burst of travel. Interesting. I'll have to order online again just to watch the route info again - vicarious travel for me!

Yup mine is also sitting in Mount Hope Ontario!! Hope I get it early today. Sched delivery was for tomorrow. :):D

It's an exciting time for you guys :)

This isn't shipping related, more Apple Store related. Just to give you guys that are still going to Apple Stores in hopes of getting one a little info. I went yesterday to see if they had any stock at Rideau Centre. First person I asked told me no they are sold out, I asked to speak with their iPhone stock guy. He said no as well, however one of his colleagues who just came from the back told him, no we still have a couple, and they did still have some (2). Make sure if you go to an Apple Store to have them actually check stock and not just say no, because even the floor manager who was managing stock wasn't aware they still had some... (even though it was only 32GB Silver). I bought the 32GB White as I wanted a white one after having the iPhone 5 in white... but am returning it today because I got the Space Grey on launch day and honestly, I like the Black better :)

Mine is in Mount Hope too. If you are in Toronto based on previous shipments I don't think there is much hope (pardon the pun) of you getting it today. It needs to clear customs and then be driven to Concord (the big Toronto processing facility up by York U) and from there the pallets are broken down and sent out for delivery. That usually takes a day. Nevertheless, I think most will arrive tomorrow. YMMV.

For outside Toronto, I am not sure where they go or if they go directly on trucks for delivery.
