Mine arrived in NB at 3:30am today, and somehow it'll b delivered to NL today!!!

Same here for the NB arrival. Odd thing is I have a Dieppe arrival at 3 am, but then an "adverse weather conditions" update at 3:47am at Mirabel Airport in Quebec. My estimated delivery date is no longer showing up. Hmm, I'm not sure what update to believe...

When I ordered my iPad mini, no one was home to sign for it. The UPS tracking page said a second delivery attempt would be made (presumably on another day), however the InfoNotice they left indicated that it was instead going to be taken to a UPS Store, so it'd be available for pickup later in the day. In my case, I live near UW, and it was delivered to a UPS Store near Weber/Lincoln.

Thanks, I think I know the place.

I have the same thing as well. I'm hoping an "on truck for delivery" appears shortly, but I've had such bad luck with couriers that I think I may have ruined it for all of us. :)

That's my hope as well. From experience UPS tracking in my city is terrible. Usually my packages won't show up as delivered until 1-2 days after I actually get them, and I very rarely get an "on vehicle for delivery" update, just a "destination scan" update (which always automatically pushes the delivery date back a day, despite the fact that I'll actually get it on the day it's scanned).

Edit: Also, I just checked the weather conditions between Dieppe and Mirabel overnight...a real blizzard of clear skies and no wind...

Out for delivery in Toronto

Original schedule delivery by 12:00 today so I should have it by then.

I've seen the adverse weather conditions trick before on my orders. Never has there been any weather. Just a stall tactic. Airlines use this too when they have a flight that is undersold, they cancel it and move everyone to the next available flight siting plan was fogged in at another airport.

I'm still on destination scan last night...and I'm only a couple km away. *facepalm*

It looks like a wind warning for flights is in effect for today in eastern Ontario and Quebec, so it's possible the weather thing may be on our tracking simply because the flight to Dieppe took it through that area on the day it was issued.

It doesn't make a lot of sense for a shipment to be delayed for weather on a sunny day after the plane has already touched down.

Just had a destination scan in Dieppe. Still says delivery is scheduled for today. Fingers crossed!

I'm still showing the Arrival scan in Dieppe, NB at 3:37am.

I'll be really pissed if I don't get it in Nova Scotia today. The main status is still showing delivery for today and that it is on time; hopefully it is.

Just came back from Apple store in Eaton Center and they said they haven't gotten a shipment of iphones since Thursday/Friday of last week. Crazy...

Delivered just now.

Thanks everyone for the informative posts and the fun monitoring those UPS flights over the Pacific Ocean and criss-crossing the continent.

Good luck!

Still not out for delivery here...wouldn't be the first time UPS messes up.

Mine has had the same scans more or less as two Calgary forum members who both had their status change to "Out For Delivery" at around 5 AM this morning. Mine hasn't, but given that UPS has a huge facility in Calgary and we'll have different drivers, I'm not surprised the scans are different now.

That being said, I read of a case yesterday where UPS delivered a 5s
to a member yesterday and no sign of "Out For Delivery". Also, I've had many cases in the past of very late scans with UPS. I was once told by a customer service rep to watch for an overall system scan around 9:30 AM (not sure which time zone). That's worked for me several times.

These are "Express" packages. I find UPS rarely delays them. If marked "Expedited", that's another story.

The waiting is the hardest part!

Mike

that's because apple is still trying to fill the 9 million phones it sold at launch, once that commitment is filled, then they will stock stores.

My iphone was just delivered in Nova Scotia just before noon. UPS is still showing the arrival in dieppe, NB from 3:37am.

The system is just wrong.

Opening it up now :)
