Order status flipped

My order status just flipped from "we've received" to "processing."

I only hope it ships earlier. I wonder if the color influences the delivery time?

Gold definitely sold out faster. After I got my order in, I went back to look at the shipping times quoted; all gold phones were already at 7-10 days, with a handful of space gray ones at 7-10. All the silver phones for carriers other than T-Mobile were still at 1-3 (and are now, it seems).

Gold availability is now just "October."
 
Why doesn't the mobile app store offer unlocked 5Ss? They're only allowing me to choose upgrades -_- rude.

Yep .. I don't understand .. until y'day there was an option for SIM FREE. Now it is gone and says T-Mobile Contract free. SIM FREE is only available in 5C.
Not sure if Contract free is tied to T-Mobile only.
 
Ordered 5S Space Gray 64gb Verizon for in store pickup tomorrow through BestBuy.com hopefully it works, have never bought through a 3rd party retailer before. Anybody have any experience with this in store pick up?:apple::apple:
 
Never could get Apple's site or iOS app to get past that AT&T error so I ended up ordering through AT&T's site. Had to log into my account and fight through a few error pages. Their site said expected ship date to be within 7 to 10 business days and the online status shows "Expected Ship Date: Pending Confirmation" right now.

I've got a "premier" / employee discount so I wonder if that's why Apple's site was having trouble?

I doubt that was the problem. I also have a premier account and had no issues ordering two via the app.

Likely just server overload.
 
AT&T already running out of silver and gold?

AT&T already reporting 7-28 day delivery for silver and gold versions.

Black/Space Gray reported as 7-14 days.

I don't know if it started that way, as I didn't try to order until about 12:15 PDT.
 
64GB AT&T Gold for me -- like others, said 1-3 originally but changed to 7-10 by the time the order was placed. I'm kind of thinking the 1-3 wasn't actually legit in the first place, but hey, this actually works out pretty well for me as I'll be able to be home for the delivery the week it's slated to arrive.

Dang, time to go back to sleep. I'm getting too old for this crap. :eek:

I am thinking the phone will ship from China in 1-3 business days but will be delivered to your door in 7-10 days because of standard shipping.
 
All gold models now show an estimated shipping date of "October" from apple.com.

All the gold ones had a ship date of 7-10 days when I got on the app right after it opened (before 2400 for me). I managed to get a 64 gold and a 32 gray.

I am going to try and get one tmr at my local apple store and see what happens.
 
Using the App I got to the account validation page for ATT upgrade. Got the "your account has been canceled", refreshed got the server busy message, and finally the site came back with "an iPhone has been reserved but we could not contact the carrier". Who knows where this will put me in the queue!

Wow, that was WAY easier to order than the 4S back in 2011. That was a nightmare.

Got my AT&T 64GB Black on the way. Took 3-4 minutes. Still unlimited data BABY!

We ordered the same thing! Much better than the 4s. Both Apple's site and AT&Ts verification were very quick.
 
Accidentally ordered 2 phones (hey, it's late, or early, depending on how you look at it). One through att and the other through the apple website. The one from apple ships in 1-3 days while the att one ships in 7-10 days despite being confirmed first! Is it a problem that 2 phones were ordered using the same upgrade??
 
Pretty pissed. Got order through right when apple.com went live. Easy order process, no hiccups, pressed "order" with a 1-3 day delivery by Oct. 2, when the order finished processing, got the 7-10 day delivery. Not sure why... with the 5 had problems with the app. Guess I should have gone that route. :mad:

I got the same 1-3 day delivery that changed to 7-10 days after processing went through. Have also read that this happened to others.
 
I had the same problem and was able to order on att.com

We have a corporate discount / ATT Premier and I think that means you can't order on apple.com.

That's odd I get a National Account Discount and I ordered through Apple's site no problems?
