Accidentally ordered 2 phones (hey, it's late, or early, depending on how you look at it). One through att and the other through the apple website. The one from apple ships in 1-3 days while the att one ships in 7-10 days despite being confirmed first! Is it a problem that 2 phones were ordered using the same upgrade??

Probably, you should be able to cancel one

I ordered through the iOS app, 64 GB Space grey, extra cable, and a 30 pin to lightning for the sound dock.
Took a total of 7.5 minutes, (I forgot my wife's social)

Ships in 1-3 days, expected arrival September 30-October 2

Interesting that the White/Silver is still listed as 1-3 days on the Apple website.

And the 64GB Space Gray has slipped to 7-10 days for AT&T (either the 64GB is more popular or they made more 16 and 32GB versions (probably the latter case))...

Tried to add a line over at AT&T's website, but I just get an endless loop of errors. Oh, well. Says I need to call. Off to bed for me.

As of 00:34 Pacific, 16GB AT&T Silver & Space Grey are still 1-3 days at the Apple store site. Gold is "October".

That's the case with all memory configurations across all the providers too. Every gold option is "October". Some of the 64Gb models are 7-10 days vs 1-3 for the others at the moment.

-32g Space Gray ATT
-32g Silver ATT

Both ordered from the apple store problem free and expected to be delivered on 9-30.

Mobile app rejected my credit card despite me typing it in three times perfectly. Anticipated delivery date was 9/30.

Website worked fine, same card typed once, anticipated delivery 10/8. Sigh.

They also make WAY more 16 /32 than 64's.

Anyone know how I can change the shipping address for my Apple store order? It defaults to our AT&T billing address, which is my family, on the other side of the country. This happened last year when I ordered my 5 and I was able to change it. But now when I go to edit the shipping address it says that the policy of the wireless carrier only allows the phone to be shipped to the billing address

Log into your AT&T account via their website and change the billing address. Then go back and order. It should immediately register the change and ship to wherever your new billing address is.

When you have your iPhone 5S in-hand, log in and change it back if you like.

Does anyone know how long it takes for apple to process your order? Havent seen my bank account debited from yet.

Thanks! :D

My available credit just went down by my purchase amount when order status changed from "we've received" to "processing."

Not encouraged by the different wording for the T-Mobile/"Unlocked" iPhone between the Apple Store order status as it stands now and my email invoice...

I went with a space gray with a black leather case. I was surprised how quick and easily the order went through. This isn't my first rodeo but it's definitely the smoothest.

this 5S "launch" is a joke.

With "October" shipment date... Maybe I will love my iPhone 5 more and cancel the 5S order? :p

I'm on a family plan with AT&T and the Apple Store app didn't let me choose an alternate shipping address or in-store pickup, disappointingly.

Same. It's shipping to my parents' place :(

Caused me some hesitation. If I find the 5s locally, can i cancel my online order pretty easily and immediately get 2-year upgrade pricing in store? I only ordered online through Apple to get the phone the fastest possible, but if it's shipping elsewhere first, getting it locally might be faster (depending on availability).

I have my order for an AT&T 32GB Space Gray, placed through Apple's site, order completed at 12:12am, still sitting on "received". Go to "processing" dammit!

Says 1-3 days, but arrival expected Sep 30-Oct 2. Must be coming on the slow boat from China.

I'm 4th in line at my local AT&T store in New York. So if the Gold is in limited supply I should be able to get at least 2 for both of my lines (32GB)! I haven't camped out since the 3GS so this feels new. But the experience is always cool

Mine too... just means that they put a hold for that amount on your CC until they ship it, and that's when they'll charge it. Standard procedure, really.

I tried and tried....every configuration I tried was shipping in 7-10 business days. Unfortunately (or fortunately?!) I go on vacation from 10/2-10/19....so I passed on getting an iPhone 5s.

I'm already worried about how much my credit score has been hurt after trying to get one considering they want my SS number, driver's license number etc...already wished I hadn't even bothered!

Well after the ATT validation fiasco, I received my email from Apple stating that I can go ahead and process my order now. Link took me to Apple site where after entering my account information it tells me "there is a problem with your ATT account, please try again later".

Frustrated...I know I'm eligible. Going from my old iPhone 4 to 5s and I've checked my eligibility multiple times prior to tonight.

I touched the app at 12:01:01 and sailed right through - 64GB Gold (I had to go South Beach, baby!) Got the confirmation email from Apple at 12:03. Ships 1-3 days.

By 12:10, it had slipped to 7-10 days, and by 12:26 Gold was shipping in October, all capacities and all carriers. Man, the Gold one went fast.

Went from "Received" to "Processing" few minutes ago.

The delivery says Sept 30-Oct 2, but my experience with Apple is they ship faster than they say, so I won't be surprised if I get it by the end of next week (the 27th). We'll see!
