iPhone 5s Orders Begin in the United States and Canada

I think AT&T has something screwed up in my account. I tried putting my wife's phone into the iOS app's upgrade check form and it worked fine. Both phones are out of contract and part of a shared minute/data plan. Weird.

One annoying thing: I can upgrade her line with 1-3 business day shipping. Too bad she doesn't want to. Guess I'll bid my time waiting for the one coming from AT&T. :/

Looks like shipping time has fallen for me for 64GB Space Grey phone...:eek:

Can't wait. Always feel like a kid in a candy store when a new product arrives.

64GB iPhone 5S in Space Gray
Ships: 1-3 business days
Delivery: Sept 30 to Oct 2

If I wanted to pay $10 more, I could have knocked the delivery estimate down to Sept 27 to Oct 1. Not worth the $10 IMHO. If I was anxious to get it right away, I'd try to go stand in line. I can wait.

Personally, I think it WILL ship tomorrow. From China, is my guess. And I bet it arrives no later than Monday.

We'll see!

Thanks, i was actually gonna give up and wait for the email instructions BUT i tried after reading these replies and it finally placed it!

its a bummer that i had it in the cart with 1-3 days first, but 7-10 days is ok, my fiancee will survive haha.

I didnt know they only ship iphone orders via AT&T to only the address on file as billing address, guess she'll have to make a trip to Fresno from San Diego.

Does anyone know if your "upgrade eligibility" re-appears right away if you cancel an order (from Apple)? Be interesting to try if the line at the Apple Store isn't too bad in the morning....
 
I got in at 12:01 via Apple. com. Ordered a gold 64gb for Verizon- I am super HAPPY. 1 to 3 days - Sept 27- Oct .

Im NOT going to stand in line...I will wait until the UPS comes to my house...;)

You mean get here from China in three days? Not impossible, but that's a full week+ from the earliest ship estimates. That's seems exceedingly optimistic.

Not that I'd mind it of course. :)

Seems to be a store issue. 5C shows unlock and T-mobile options, but 5s as T-mobile only.
 
Used iPhone App to get in my 2 orders @ 3:05 AM EDT.
took less than 2 minutes total. AT&T and Apple sites were still not coming up.
Ordered 16 GB Space Grey; Ships in 1-3 days (Sep 30- Oct 2)
And, 32 GB Gold; Ships 7 - 10 days(Oct 8 - Oct 11)

How are they calculating delivery days?
 
to the people who ordered gold, are you guys using the phone naked or what? it's so hard tos how off the gold since it's under where you usually put the case

My 4S came from China, only took a few days. Apple has reportedly chartered a whole bunch of freight flights at $250K a pop (of course, those flights are carrying close to half a million iPhones each, so 50 cents a phone, cheap!).
 
So, I never saw any option for expedited / faster shipping. Of course, I was trying to be fast, but also accurate, while being very excited, so maybe I just missed it?

I assume I can change my order to the faster shipping via the link in the email?

I had to do exactly the same. My roommate ordered his through Apple from Verizon and he was able to edit his shipping at checkout.
 
AT&T 64 grey. Processing now
Ordered extra charger that preparing for shipment

Unlocked one I bought still just says received

I used the Apple website, worked great, no stalls. Order submitted around 12:10 PST.

The Sprint website was down for maintenance, so I went with Apple.com .

Sprints iPhone 5S website went live at about 12:05 pst.

I just ordered my 16 GB gold for sprint. Online I'm not too sure it says expected in 2 to 5 business days but then it also says for iPhone 5S shipping up to three weeks?

Had to order from the Sprint website. Could not order through Apple because my Sprint billing address is a PO Box. Doh!!:mad:
